We use Hubspot to host our website and blog, manage our leads, and schedule social media posts. We can also set up email automation and workflows. It's nice to have everything in one place and the video learning center is very helpful.
We haven't quite figured out how to make the customer satisfaction surveys work for us but this functionality is fairly new within Hubspot so hopefully it will improve with time.
With Hubspot we have several forms set up on our site which enables us to gather lead information. Hubspot then creates the contact record in the system and we can view the lead's flow through our site -- how they first came to us, which pages they viewed, and even any email correspondence we've had with them. Prospects can schedule a consultation with us directly on the site through Hubspot and we can track their lead status in the Deals section. Overall, Hubspot helps us create a smooth process for potential new clients and helps our team stay organized and collaborative.
I'm a huge fan of the flexibility of the page builders. I can easily update, create new pages and set up a/b tests in minutes. HubSpot is constantly improving and it is exciting to be able to take advantage of new features as they are rolled out.
Analytics data can sometimes be confusing, but the product is constantly being upgraded, so this is improving.
HS eliminates the need for developers in the day to day. For the most part, we can make website changes and updates in-house.
I like the simple logic of updating and building new site pages and landing pages in HubSpot vs. other platforms. I also like that HubSpot has everything you need in one package - email, landing pages, staging pages, analytics, workflows, etc. VS. other platforms that I must use various plugins, CMS systems, etc. to achieve the same results.
So far I have been able to replicate most functionality requests in the COS HubSpot sites, ask me a few years ago and I would have a list of limitations. HubSpot seems to keep up with adding in new capabilities all the time to meet the needs of todays complex website development.
Finding new ways for conversions using CTAs, forms and landing pages. We have been able to increase lead capture and conversions using the HubSpot methodology, which is clear and concise.
The fact that you track and analyze your campaign's data thanks to the analytics tool!
I tried to share different formats to see what works best for my audience but we can't share GIFs via hubspot. We can only share classic formats (video, photos, text).
It helps a lot managing my inbound campaign, it leaves me time to do more things
I've been in the web development and digital space for over 10 years now and have used many platforms and systems. I started using HubSpot over a year ago at my new position and instantly liked it. It is the most intuitive system I've ever used without much learning curve. It's also super powerful. It takes managing digital content to the next level. You can do so much with it, from managing contacts, creating amazing emails in a breeze, posting and engaging on social, and creating landing pages from scratch or from one of Marketplace templates. The reporting is amazing as well, you can fine tune any data you want.
There isn't much to dislike about HubSpot. They are continually adding new features and making the system better. It's super fast, cleanly designed, and the UI is well organized. I use HubSpot daily for hours on end and have never run into any issues. The support is top notch as well!
Managing leads, sending emails, managing social, creating campaigns, creating landing pages and online content. The benefits are simple: you can create an all encompassing digital campaign in a matter of hours. Set up a landing page from one of their amazing templates, create an email to send out to your contacts, schedule social posts, set up automated workflows to nurture those contacts that are engaged with the content, and so much more!
The platform makes testing a breeze! Publishing, editing, and creating a consistency of experience for my users.
I think the design tools could be strengthened.
New client on-boarding.
HubSpot is great because everything you need as a small to medium sized business is available out of the box at an affordable price. The platform can be built and added to with HubSpot's add-on features, the native customization available in the platform, and partner integrations to match the growing complexity of processes that come with scaling a business. This is a very powerful, user friendly tool to make marketers lives easier, and I would definitely recommend it for the functionality and user experience.
There should be a sandbox environment to practice with new product features, train new team members, and complete practical exercises for the certification outside of the company's live portal.
We use HubSpot to help ourselves, and our clients grow. Working in the high-growth tech/SaaS market, our clients range from 10 person startups to 2,500+ person corporations, and their needs change at each growth stage. HubSpot has a product solution to support with each stage of scale - regardless of whether your marketing team is 1 or 50 - and a worldwide agency ecosystem that's specialized to service around the platform.
Coming from a variety of other tools, Hubspot has significantly enhance our ability to create and implement our marketing activities in one platform and given us easy access to metrics to evaluate our success quickly and easily.
It takes a little trial and error to figure out how all the features work together and how to get the most out of the tool.
It's been an incredible experience to have social, website, email and marketing campaigns in one location. We don't have to try to integrate multiple tools or check multiple systems and dashboards to evaluate how we're doing. Having so many add-ons to provide templates and additional features has been really helpful as well as the number of Hubspot partners willing to share tips and tricks and expertise.
The ease of everything within this platform and how easy it is for multiple people to use it. Our whole digital marketing team uses HubSpot - from blogs, to emails, to scheduling social media posts, we can do it all in HubSpot.
HubSpot has recently changed their reports to "simplify" them, which seems at first like a good thing, however, with these simpler reports we've lost access to a lot of data points we used to rely on.
One of the best tools I use is scheduling out social media posts from 5 different accounts.
We like that the free version allows to carry tasks, businesses and contacts in a completely unlimited way. The complete suite integrates sufficient tools to achieve an automated marketing management, with which you can gather all the contact information and business needs through a single screen. What we like most is how easy it is to customize the SEO engine, so our web positioning can improve depending on our experience.
HubSpot is limited in the handling of links from our website to external sites. It does not perform auditing, nor is it integrated into the google analytics platform. Does not track mobile searches, and competition analyzes are quite slow.
HubSpot automates marketing and analytics management of this. It has also allowed us to better execute the integral campaigns of inbound marketing, and increase the traffic of our website, whose visitors we can convert more easily than before. It also works to specifically track the life cycle of each customer with we convert.
HubSpot is the back-bone of my marketing campaigns. From marketing automation (workflows, sequences, lead score), to landing page development and hosting, HubSpot's features enable me to generate quality inbound leads.
I wish the de-duplicate tool for both the contacts and companies was more accurate - sometimes the program identifies contacts with the same last name as duplicates, even if its a family run business. I'm hopefully HubSpot continues to build out reporting functionality for sequences. As is, I don't have good reporting into which emails bounced.
I rarely have problems with HubSpot, just some more advanced feature requests. The benefits I've realized across email marketing, social media, content marketing, analytics & reporting have been massive. Since running our marketing department through HubSpot, our cost to acquire each customer has gone down, and revenue growth has steadily increased.
I like the ease of use. Recent UI improvements help streamline a lot of the work I do. The cleanliness of the UI/UX has improved quite a bit over the last 4 years. The webpage features are powerful and easy to use, taking a ready made page and cloning it to make another page that you can then tweak quickly is a big time saver.
I wish the editing panels were larger. They are draggable vertically but it cuts off the html and can be disorienting until you get used to it. I have used a few website building tools and usually just revert to writing all of my html/css in an editor then uploading the code. I still do that in HubSpot which may be my own limitation but having a place to edit my stylesheets next to the html with a live update would be extremely nice.
HubSpot helps us keep marketing and sales on the same page. The biggest benefit to me as a designer is building custom modules that can be used across our website. Making a nav change in one place rather than hitting 20 pages saves so much time. This also allows for quicker iteration, once I have a couple of modules in place I can build out an entire website in a fraction of tools I have used in the past.
How so many things are integrated under one platform - web pages, e-mail marketing, SEO/analytics, contact/lead management
The SEO/web site analytics facet could offer more insights into competitor web sites
Creating workflows for generating leads and handling them.
The user friendliness of the site, ability to automate certain tasks, the large array of features and functions we use to customize our marketing campaigns, and the deep insights it provides for all our various marketing campaigns to validate our efforts. I also like how this tool makes it easy to edit landing pages no matter how complex they are, web modules for our website, customize contact forms, create ad campaigns and integrate contact lists with them, and track critical data for digital campaigns so we can make better choices in our marketing strategy for our company.
Honestly, there's little I don't like about Hubspot. Although, I would say the platform is lacking a little in providing certain insights of social media ad campaigns in the ads section, but I do realize Hubspot does continue to update their platform with consideration from user feedback like myself, so that's awesome.
Since we've started using Huspot, we've been able to gain better insights into our marketing campaigns and track our website traffic to better score incoming leads and better qualify our leads to our sales people. Overall, the quality of our leads has improved through hubspot, and because of that, we're better equipped to device a better marketing plan.
HubSpot's Marketing Hub has been instrumental for our company starting and then continuing to manage our inbound marketing efforts. I personally love the workflows to help capture contacts and continuing nurturing them after they download a piece of content or interact with any combination of emails, web pages, blog posts, etc. I honestly don't know what we'd do without HubSpot. It's like the extra member of our team who, even though it never laughs at my jokes.
I wish there was a dashboard/report for number of content downloads.
As we built our pillar/cluster pages, the content strategy tools has been priceless. It's really helped us map out and organize our content to make sure it's all working together and we're not just throwing things out there and hope they stick.
The software brings everything marketing into one place and makes it all very measureable. You buy into a marketing ethos that is scientific in nature. The account manager and customer service are exemplary.
So many changes and updates to the platform that it can at times be hard to keep up.
Social media - managing multiple accounts and posting on behalf of members of the team. Website hosting - a clear and simpe platfor from which to manage and run the website. CRM - all contacts and customers in one place with insight as to their interactions of the website. Blog - fully managed and engrained in SEO strategy. Sales tool - recording all leads and opportunities, conversion rates and values. Email - communication tool wth customers whereby the database can be segmented depending on the audience we're mailing to.
i like this software for the following reasons 1 it`s updated in contacting manner that allows our company to create a list of different groups, builds our database so that our sales team can do a more efficient job and focus on strategies specific to each work group. 2 it have genuine estimation, marketing is the reconciliation of each promoting stage.blogs,Email, landing pages, workflows, work processes and more can without much of a stretch be made and incorporated- for simple utilize. 3 you can make beautiful landing pages ,with this you can make delightful presentation pages that makes it simple for clients to change over to a deal,or showcasing qualified lead.
what i don`t like is that their services are all "add- on"we started off with the free plan and then upgraded to the marketing plan but then need to add on on the sales plan for at least one user and addition to down the line we have to purchase an add on for reporting. every stage you must add on,i won`t complain because is smart wise in business.
it makes presentation to be easier because it have beautiful landing pages hence makes presentation to be delightful and simple,it makes change over to a deal or show casing qualified lead.
Extremely high-quality technical support reachable 24/7 by chat, phone, e-mail or call me back function (they really do call you back within 5 minutes). There is also a very active community of users, organising meet-ups in my city (Eindhoven, a middle size city in The Netherlands) but also more significant events and of course the users' forum. When using HubSpot, you are not alone! Their video training portal and KB (HubSpot Academy) are also very well done, an endless resource of training, not only about their solution but also about marketing in general. As we all know, the tool is essential, but it's how you and your colleagues are using it that matters. On top of that, I can easily track the progress of my team in their training and certification. Also, for new recruits, I can quickly check if a certification claimed on a CV is valid. The tool itself is actually more a set of tools. The strength are the CMS (so easy to use, I really do have full control on my website and the optimization cycle is super short thanks to reporting and the ease of collecting the data that matters) the tracking (with ease to respect GDPR) and the automation (so many possibilities there, one of the most powerful I have seen so far)
The social media management tool is great if you have nothing so far, especially that it allows you to track social media post. Independently of the tool, you have used to post them (the other tool like Hootsuite, or on the platform itself) but it does not include a social media listening tool. You can track who is mentioning you, but you cannot follow your customers, prospects or competitors there, so you will probably want to use Hootsuite or Sproutsocial for that.
The first thing that I fixed is the user experience of my website, it's now fully responsive, and all I purchased is a template. (I saved around 40k on web design, development and hosting ) The sales team has much more visibility on their leads, no VPN needed, all can be seen and updated from their smartphone. It's much easier for them, also for reporting, we have more insight and more meaningful reports. I'm now working on the qualification of my leads; I'm in the process of building workflows to allow much deeper qualification of the leads before we talk to them, thanks to lead nurturing and progressive profiling. The sales team will soon be able to spend much more time selling instead of qualifying. This will give us multiplied sales force capacity without additional headcount. I'll update my review when it is done.
We love having everything in one place. It's our portal to productivity, organization, and success. Customer service and responsiveness are outstanding.
Content editors are sometimes flaky. Would like more choices in fonts and customization options for design and appearance.
Workflows and relationship nurturing are excellent. Customer loyalty and engagement are advanced using HS tools.
I have used many marketing automation platforms and HubSpot is by far my favorite. They are always improving, provide excellent support and the tool is user friendly and easy to learn. If you have a question, you can find answers on their blog/HubSpot Academy. With meaningful data packed in one place, we can build all different reports and dashboards while gaining insight about how each of our campaigns is directly affecting our sales.
There is a steep price increase and contracts are annual - it would be nice to have more flexibility here.
We are creating processes and efficiency throughout the marketing team. Our web pages, landing pages, forms, lists, smart lists, email and reporting are all in one place. HubSpot is also integrated with our Salesforce.com, iCapture, GoToWebinar, Slemma and SurveyMonkey.
