We had been relying on a business phone system that required us to be there in person to monitor call flow and voicemails. In our slow season, we would have to go there just to see if anyone had called.. now with Nextiva, we can monitor for any emergency calls without being tied to a desk. Transition was seamless, and honestly faster than i expected. I've been able to get all questions or hiccups solved quickly through their chat agents. So far, it's been a game changer in my lifestyle.
We haven't found anything so far that we dislike, but we just started using the services this month.

I am waiting patiently for when they have their email system updated to where I can email directly to my clients. Besides that, there isn't anything I can think of that I have any issues with.
They are giving me the freedom to work from anywhere and still take my work calls. Having two small kids has benefited me greatly. I can have my producers work from home.

Better phone service; better customer service
Nextiva is a great company that offers affordable and reliable Business VoIP. Nextiva systems are easy to use, easy to set up, and their customer support is knowledgable and helpful. Having installed thousands of Nextiva phones for our customers, we have seen about anything you can think of in terms of features and integrations. Nextiva's strong network and uptime\reliability is another reason why we would recommend Nextiva to our customers. Nextiva's partner program has been very beneficial to our business, CalComm Systems, as we can offer a reliable, easy to use, VoIP solution to our clients that we install, train, and manage for them. There's a lot of choices out there for your business communications, but we feel Nextiva is at the top of the list. Also in full disclosure we offer other VoIP solutions based on what better suites or customer's needs, however more times than not Nextiva is a good balance of features vs. price. That's probably why we use Nextiva ourselves for our in-house phone system.
Like all successful VoIP companies there can be growing pains along the way. Being an installer we can take care of most service requests ourseleves, however there are certain things that customers don't have access to managing and still need to contact Nextiva Support. So there have been frustrating moments in the past when support wait times arej ust too long, espeically when something is broken. So I can imagine for a business that manages their own phone system that this can be compounded. But it seems as of late (winter 2023) Nextiva has really invested in their Support Team, and wait times have greatly improved. One other thing I would say that the mobile app can be frustrating at times. There are times when I need to log out, then log back in, or at least kill the app in the background inorder to place an outbound call. It does not seem to affect the incoming calls though, just the outbound. But these are pretty minor, and fairly common problems with most VoIP apps. It could also be a device issue and not neccessarily a provider issue.
Nextiva offers a reliable, easy-to-use, feature rich business phone system. Even though we are a tech company, there is something to be said about having a phone system that just works, and that is not complicated to use. Also we are dependent upon our phones to work inorder to provide 24/7 tech support to our customers. Having a secure, reliable, geo-redundant network Nextiva fits the bill for us. We can only count a handful of times that our phones went down in the past 6-7 yeaars, and even then most of those times calls still were answered by our auto attendant or voicemail. This is a game changer for us so that we never miss a beat with our customers\co-workers.
We are being using nextiva for a couple of years now and their customer support is one of the best! Every time we needed them, normally the problem is fixed at the first contact.

The platform is very realiable and a fraction of the cost of an inhouse solution like cisco.
It is such a time saver for me to be able to read my voicemails. During our busy time of the year, I will get 30 per day. With the ability to read the transcription, I can get through those in 1/3 the time it would normally take. I love the ability to have my work phone on my cell phone. We are required to record all phone calls and when I'm not in the office, I can use the app to know my calls are being recorded. Not to mention, is is 1/4 the cost of my old phone system

We are required to record every phone call and have a disclaimer played. Nextiva plays the disclaimer before the call even rings to me. I know my calls are being recorded and stored for the required amount of time.

The customer service is impeccable! Every time I have a question, they are quick to come up with the solution. I LOVE the number of features Nextiva has to offer such as multiple lines, teams, users, call recording, after-hours forwarding, and more. It was an overall easy process to integrate the phones we got from them. The implementation team was also very informative and answered all my questions. Overall, this is SUPER easy to use!
No downsides! After switching with a 'big-name' phone provider... I would never look back.
Call recording was something that we really wanted with our retired phone provider which was nothing that they offered. Nexiva offers phone call recording which comes in handy when working with clients over the phone.

Reliable call services for our school district.
I have used Nextiva for my non-profit church account, and have recently subscribed for my private business. The customer service has been extremely helpful. I was concerned since I am a small business owner and the intitial upfront cost was going to be prohibitive. However, the man I spoke with listened to my concerns without trying to push any special features, and was able to come to a solution that suited my budgetary needs. I have a functional phone for communicating with clients both over phone calls and through text messaging.
I had one difficulty with setting up my phone, but it was readily rectified. The phone I setup was a polycom phone that I got discounted due to it being an MS Teams certified phone. When I first configured it the config wasn't quite right. I couldn't get it to connect; however, the tech support man was extremely knowledgeable and was able to tweak the configuration file. Within an hour of calling Nextiva support my phone was up and running, and I was able to conduct business the same day.

Nothing. There is nothing to dislike as far as us being with Nextiva. Most of our users are from outside the United States, and so far, it has never failed us. We love the application so far
If the application is not compatible with the modem, we found a way to make it work, which is for me easy to use. The application itself is easy to understand. No need to do deep dive and we can just use it anytime needed
The customer service is easily reach and well educated to help with any type of issue. You can take the phone if your not at the location site. Ease of forwarding the calls when needed.
The only downside I have found, if your internet goes down the phones will also.

The support, just as they they claim, is awesome! I was able to get the help I needed and more. Victor was truly awesome at helping me out. We just got this set up and ported over today. Even though the issues arised today, I was still able to answer phone calls on my cell phone, so even though I had the issue I was having it was easy to continue working.
Its a very vast company and it has so many features that is awesome. It takes some time to understand them all though, but if you put in the effort and patience its worth it in my opinion
The issue thatI had a confirmation that the number was ported over today, but it asn't ringing on any phones except for 1, myself as a user. Victor was able to make it so that all phones get rung and we're at the point now we're its almost as if nothing changed, but we got a good infrastructural upgrade.

User friendly. It's a simple and easy to use phone system. If I can't find the answer I need by navigating their website, their available chat option is very handy. The support I've received has always been helpful and fast.
I have not encountered any issues thus far that would cause me any dislike. I've had some issues but they're usually very easily solvable and caused by user error usually.
Today was about updating our voicemail message and I ran into na issue I couldn't solve myself. The help I received was fast and even though he did the change FOR me, I understand what to do in the future IF it happens again. If I ever need help with a spam phone number blocked, its simple and worry free. If I need info on the call, the caller ID is complete. If I need to access my voicemail or search for a call in the history, its easy to do so.
