How I can customize the entire phone system to work how I need it to work and can access it remotely if we are working from home.
Honestly, I don't have anything negative regarding Nextiva! The sales and customer service have been wonderful!
We needed a phone system that was able to evolve in today's workplace. To be able to change any of the settings easily, to have the option to forward my landline to my cellphone. It has fixed all of the problems our old phone system was giving us.

I have yet to find a "down side". I've worked on phone systems for over 15 years and find this to be one of the easiest hosted platforms to work with.

It's intuitive to use and makes things very simple. It has a lot of perks by allowing group chats for business clients and for the employees. We have thoroughly enjoyed using Nextiva ever since we switched.
The setup process takes some time and requires a lot of immediate attention on your part but it's worth it.

When I first started my new job, I had nothing but trouble with my desk phone. When I finally got a phone that worked properly, I had to call Nextiva customer support to set up my desk phone so I could make and receive calls from my clients and their caregivers. The representative that handled my phone setup was courteous, knowledgeable, and very patient. He didn't get aggravated with me when we had difficulties with my router not showing the IP address like it was supposed to, he just kept his cool and didn't stop trying until we got my phone online and connected even though it took way longer than usual to do it. As for the service itself, I have found that this phone service is reliable and it seems to provide very clear calls with little to no issues or downtime so far. I would highly recommend this service to anyone I know who is needing a reliable phone service for their office. It really is a great service!
So far I haven't seen anything that I don't like about this service. It hasn't let me down yet! I've had no issues with connecting to my calls or them connecting to me, and I haven't had any issues with my callers being able to hear me clearly when we're on the phone. So far it's been great. I had issues with the initial setup but that was due to a problem with my router, not their services.
I'm not aware of any problems that Nextiva is having so I can't speak on anything that they are solving at this time.

I like the the portability and functionality. I like the fax option - it is actually quite simple once it is setup as long as you have a fax line. Customer Support has been great!
transfering from mobile app to desktop device while on a call is difficult. Mobile app doesn't have a "park" feature
Having the VoIP system allows our staff to work remote and continue to be accessible to us and their clients via their work phone. We can access each other easily. Having the Fax capability is a big help and having a chance to use it again - I realize it is actually quite simple to us once it is setup.
The customer service at nextiva is amazing, anytime we have a problem they are on it right away. We use this daily to run our business and the amount of features we enjoy allows us to monitor our team wherever they might be.
there arent many downsides to nextiva the only complaint I used to have was the chat didn't have a counter for where you were in line. But that has since been alleviated

I've used many VOIP services over the years. It always seems like they overpromise, underdeliver and the customer service is terrible if your're a small acount. With Nextiva it has been the opposite. Set up was easy. The tech support through chat is responsive and knowledgable. Short waits and the IT support knows the product well. Also the call quality is crystal clear which is really important when your using voip as your main phone line to communicate with customers.
I would've liked if setting up text messaging was part of the initial set up. It wasn't clear that text messaging set up was a seperate task to be done by Nextiva. However, when I contacted them they set it up immeadiately so it wasn't an issue.
Nextiva is making it so its simple for me to have one main line for calling and texting customers with my iPhone. Super user friendly.

Easy to use portal and I can self manage almost everything and if not they have a live chat for tech support and they can remote session to assist and it's excellent
I would like a feature that shows me on the handsets who is on Do Not Disturb.
