I enjoy the workflow and the ability to move a candidate through the hiring process with ease. I especially like the integrations with Calendly, our HRIS, and Reference Checks.
I believe Greenhouse lacks sourcing capability. It is hard tap into the talent that is in the system.
We are able to integrate new hires into Workday. We also are able to track candidates through the hiring process. We can look at the data to see where we can improve and where we are losing candidates in the process. Greenhouse is decent analytics we are able to use.
Greenhouse is really user freindly- easy to catch on and navigate. I love all the plug ins and ways other platforms interact with greenhouse. Easy to keep clean and understadn where a candidate is at in the process.
Emails sent through Greenhouse can sometimes end up in spam folders- that can be really annoying
Greenhouse is a really easy ATS. We have many recuiters and soucrers on the team and we can all easly see the last interactions with a candidate and who is leading them through the process. I also really love the prosecting function, makes it easyto send bulk emails.
I like the UI and how simple it is to use. I also like that it integrates with a lot of other platforms, making it easy to schedule and reach our candidates.

Its giving us a place to store our candidates. Its definitely one of the more simpler ATS's I've used.
I like the flow of it and how it looks appealing to the eye. The offer letter process is something I like better than other ATS systems.
I do not like that the self-schedule feature doesn't have ways to specify how many interviews per day, specific times you would like interviews to stay within, and such. I do not like that reminders don't come from our emails it comes from no-reply Greenhouse which can get lost in spam. I do not like that email templates don't have a way to make them more exciting for the customer with highlighting and such. I do not like reporting, I wish there were a few more reports that had more functionalities or even ways to make them specific to what we need. I do not like that you don't have a way to send SMS or Whatsapp texts to the candidates.
It solves the problem of keeping all of our candidates organized and within one area.
I like how Greenhouse is super easy to navigate and has a great amount of tools within. Customer support is always easy to reach, they get back to me in a timely manner.

Greenhouse is a central source of data for all activities related to Recruiting and onboarding. It integrates with our other HR tools for a seamless data transfer process between systems.
- Beautiful UI and intuitize user experience - Helps with strategic hiring decisions (e.g. customizable interview scorecards) - Visualizes data nicely (reports, pipelines, etc.) - Interview plan and hiring team are very customizeable for one job to the next - Automatically nudges decision-makers; clean candidate profiles; makes posting/reposting jobs really easy. - Can get really granular and specific with regards to user permissions - Excellent written documentation - Lots of options to collaborate with hiring teams directly through the platform - Very solid Customer Success team for Enterprise
- Expensive - Complex and takes a while to implement and learn and hard to "look under the hood" to understand what's going on - Does not integrate with the naming conventions of our HRIS, so we cannot utilize that option - Support limitations: while theyr'e Customer Success and documentation are both quite strong, the options for Support are limited to chat bot and chat (during working hours). There is no option to call for support (preferred) . Have to go through the chat bot in order to send an email. - Reporting is getting better, but we would still like to have more robust reporting and analytics and want more advanced data analysis capabilities to gain deeper insights into recruitment metrics. - Candidate emails can be difficult to customize nicely for any users who don't have basic HTML skills - While much of the ATS is customizeable, users are somewhat limited to recruiting 'the Greenhouse way,' in terms of naming conventions (e.g. what we call "Hiring Managers," they call "Recruiters," and what we call, "Recruiters," they call "Coordinators," and there's no ability to change these labells or the tasks associated with each) - Certain desirable features are only offered in the "Expert" tier, but most of the features in that tier are not relavent to us, so it does not make sense to upgrade, so we are in the "Advanced" tier without the ability to use those features (e.g. the option to have Dependent / child-parent fields on the Offer pages)
Greenhouse helps our hiring teams to make better, more-informed hiring decisions by allowing interviewers to visually display their candidate assessments. It helps us stay on track with automatic nudges, reminder messages, and predictive analytics. It also does a decent job of solving the typical hiring problems like duplicate applicants or jobs with multiple openings. The architecture behind such things is really good.
Greenhouse has a lot of helpful featuers that help keep candidates organized.
It takes a day for Greenhouse changes to reflect in Modernloop, and if I want immediate changes, I'd have to ask my CSM.

It's a central hub for all things recruiting. Makes life much easier rather than relying on multiple resources
I really like how there is a Job Dashboard for each role. I've worked with other ATS that only provides a General Dashboard for the ATS vs per role. I also like that I am able to schedule and confirm interviews through GH. Another thing is the ability to customize the recruitment stages for each role vs the whole ATS.
I'm not sure if there is a way to leave me off of the Scorecards as a Recruiter b/c I am not present in most of the interview stages. Going into GH and seeing that I have incomplete interview scorecards kind of gives me anxiety. I haven't utilized the reporting option as much as I would like to, but I wish there was a way to change the report into a pie chart or other visual format to add into presentations as necessary.

I wish we could get suppot better from a live chat perspective. If I have a quick question it would be nice to go to someone live and get a quick answer vs using articles and docs to figure it out.
Data Analytics
Greenhouse helps makes the interview process more streamlined. All prospect documents are accesible in one place and the workflow process is pretty intuitive. I like that we can also track external emails to the prospects as well as interal communications.
I find it hard to navigate at times depending on how deep I get in my search and at times have to go back to the homepage to reset my search process.
It offer one system where all candidate communications and documents are held as well as creates a seamless workflow for each interview. I am able to see others' feedback on the candidate, emails, internal communications and resumes/coverletters all in once place.
I think this product is one of the best ATS for data and reporting.
The candidate navigation and some of the UX is not very intuitive compared to other software I have used.
Really solid data and reporting tools
Ease of use. There are so many integrations! So many other apps connect to Greenhouse and allow you to maximize its potential. The Customer Support team is also excellent and can really help you understand how to troubleshoot the product.
The limited customizability. Templates only allow you to use tokens in certain stages, which means that you will end up doing a lot of manual work around generating offer letters, sending interview confirmations, and sending email templates.
Greenhouse keeps our recruiting data in order because of how the system is organized. It allows us to pull reports that matter to the business.
My company has recently transitioned to Greenhouse and it has been a dream compared to our old system. My team was part of the integration process, and everyone from Greenhouse was so friendly and informative to work with. They made sure we understood our new product, helped cater it to our needs and top priorities, and it was implemented in a very timely manner. I use Greenhouse every day, and have now trained my teams within this system. The overwhelming positivity from my hiring managers and the ease of getting them into this new system has been so successful for my recruitment efforts, but has also helped eliminate interview bias, loss of information, and has streamlined our interview process. I would recommend Greenhouse to anyone who is looking to make a switch to an easy, user-friendly ATS!
Sometimes there is so much customability with Greenhouse that it is confusing.

Greenhouse is solving the problem of streamlining our hiring process. It benefits us by improving efficiency in candidate sourcing, assessment, and hiring, ultimately saving time and helping us make more informed hiring decisions.
Greenhouse is very resourceful for keeping candidates in one place. The way you're able to go from job to job is beneficial. It is easy to save templates, and post online as well. It especially comes in handy when you're integrating other sourcing tools as well.
The only con to Greenhouse I can think of is when it comes to "prospects". I often find it hard to maintain contact with potential hires down the road. I believe there are changes to be made there in terms of keeping prospects better organized
Creating an applicant tracking system for us. It also allows us to easily post our positions online. In addition it keeps us on tracks and is able to remind us to follow up with candidates too
I like the multiple functionality and customization the system enables. I use it on a daily basis and it enables me to understand exactly how hiring is doing. Whenever I reach a problem customer support is very available in US time zone. I was not part of the integration process but I can say it's easy to onboard new members and to implement usage with the teams and employees.
Some things are too complicated to manage like permission levels for the system. Also, reporting is not intuitive and one needs to have good familiarity with the system to utilize it successfully,
GH is my way to managing all hiring efforts and being able to keep track, records, and manage high scale hiring
