Having a go-to space to create training info for new hires! Our process includes onboarding guides for Manager and new hire, plus process and procedures training.
Sometimes the complexity of building the pages is too much.
Streamlined training processes for new hires and having a digital catalog of updates
The ability to include tests, gifs, and video.
When using Trainual, it is very taxing on my RAM and causes my PC to slow down.
Trainual has allowed us to create solid SOPs, and training around a variety of tasks that our office requires.
I love the ability to bulk assign topics, and to track the progress of team members. We can see what they've read or watched, and create accountability. The new mobile app is extremely exciting, and is something we've hoped would come.
So far I haven't found anything we don't like. With the new mobile app, Trainual has really caught up and surpassed most of it's competitors. We're really excited to continue to build out our SOP's and on boarding process.
Before Trainual, we had an SOP manual that was outdated at best, and obsolete at worst. There was little consistency in how people did things across departments. There was also no accountability. Now, we can verify that new and existing employees have not only been given required information, but they've actually read it, and been quizzed on it.
Over the years we have developed SO much training content but it is organized in many different platforms (google drive, dropbox, basecamp, etc.) and it makes on-boarding very challenging! I love that we can have ALL of our training in ONE place and that we can add super cute animations to make it interesting and we can add tests to ensure comprehension!
I have struggled with how best to organize all of the content that we want added so that it is easy for staff to hop in and find what they need when they need it. Not sure this is really a reflection of Trainual as much as it is we just have so much training content :)
Onboarding! We work in a very complicated industry with many regulations to which we must abide. I have struggled with how best to manage new hire onboarding and Trainual makes that much easier because it automates the process and allows the staff to review and re-review as they see fit.
I love the simplicity and intuitive design. From day 1 we were able to begin creating the training manual and inputting relevant info. I love that the well-placed updated they have don't completely change the platforms and rather gently enhance it.
We'd love if there was a feature that allowed for unique urls attributed to each section.
We don't have to explain and explain again the different policies and methods we use internally! Ah! What a relief!
It's easy to get all my team on the same page and also track on their progress of training
There's not much to dislike, I've really liked all the features so far!
We're able to get all of our team trained on the same material while also providing them quiz's as well as seeing everyones activity as an admin
Trainual offers an easy to use, playful interface that enables managers to dole out training materials easily and across a vast array of teams. I like how easy it is to set up modules, and then disperse. No headaches!
I have not found anything particularly painful yet.
We are using trainual to onboard employees across our company. We have realized enhanced employee performance as we are able to narrow in on testing performance that we mandate employees to do after each module. The benefits of this are innumerable.
I love being able to update already existing content and then pushing it out to employees, requiring them to review the updates in order to receive progress credit. No questions as to who received the updates and who didn't.
I wish I could create departments and then create subjects within the departments. Right now I just have a lengthy list of all subjects within our platform.
We are a virtual team and with Trainual we can ensure everyone is getting the same information.
The best part to me is the monitoring of my employees' progress.
I am not a huge fan of the way the users page is set up. I'd like to be able to search names easier.
It's great when pushing out new policy updates to my employees.
I was recently hired to a company using Trainual as a tool for onboarding, and the training I received was seamless with Trainual. I appreciated the ability to be able to be trained on something and then immediately be able to refer back to our processes on Trainual for maximum understanding.
I personally haven't experienced many issues so far, even inputting things as an admin, no dislikes so far in 3 months.
It has allowed us to seamlessly share important information with the entire team in a learning format. This has made it a lot harder to make mistakes or to let certain processes slip. Overall, my onboarding experience was a lot easier because of Trainual.
As a trainer, it's helpful to be able to test my trainees. Once I have results, I can see if they need more work/help in certain areas.
I dislike the fact that they can just hit next and not confirm that they have reviewed all of the information.
I am solving the problem of having to repeat the same work over and over again, and share a playbook. Instead it is organized and trainnees can access the sections whenever/how many times as needed.
I love that I can update and make edits/adds to our documentation and training in real time that can be shared to all employees. It removes the need to have copies printed and chasing down our ever traveling employees to make sure they are informed and review changes. Its all at our finger tips
I really cannot think of anything negative. They are always ever changing and evolving to be up to date and add more helpful options in presenting our employees information and training.
Like I've mentioned, sharing changes and new information to our employees who are not always at our "offices" and traveling all over the US
I like the simplicity of creating the various topics and assigning to different people.
Nothing, it's all so so easy to use! Makes it convenient to assign and create topics for others.
Saving the trouble of repeating over and over again when it's all been laid out already.
The one thing that I enjoy about trainual is that it is very easy to use and very organized. I have assisted our training team in developing our version of trainual it is very easy to use and navigate. Overall just really enjoy using the program. I also like how I can create tests or exams that I can give my trainees to see if they really grasped the training that we provided. Also, I create tests to send potential new hires as well to test their common knowledge in computer skills and basic law knowledge.
There is nothing that I really dislike about this program. The one thing that I would suggest changing would be making it easier to publish a training manual. When I first started using it took me a while to figure out who to publish sections that I wrote. Other than that like I said I really enjoy this platform.
We have problemed solved a lot. This platform has given us the ability to train new employees that we hire but also helps us train new employees with anything new the firm releases such as new policies, programs and so on. With the test that I am able to create I give to my team to see if they have really grasped the concept of our training. I think it benefits us big time, we can see who is struggling and also I can see who is doing great.
I love how organized Trainual is with the separate subject, topics and steps. It is set up similar to how the mind would process the steps to complete/learn something new.
It may be the amount of data we use but it's a little slow to load and upload. The user setup is a little weird, too. Assigning users to subjects is interesting and unique, practice and using the system would solve that.
Training across multiple departments on various channels for an entire agency is now seamless with training.
There isn't much to dislike with Trainual. We've been working with them for almost a year now, and they crush it on every level. Some specific areas include customer service, seamless user experience, ease of use from the admin perspective, etc. Everything works really well. Also, LOVE that we can see the feature pipeline and can vote on new ideas... and that the Trainual team actually takes our feedback into consideration! Oh, and the Chrome extension and Zapier integrations are awesome.
The only thing I even remotely dislike is that new features don't come quick enough! I'd love to see more beta features available to me more quickly as well. That being said, though, they still work at lightning speed... so I'm ultimately content.
We use Trainual for onboarding new employees. We built out a 3-day program using Trainual and it has been so much better than any other interface we've used. Employees are up to speed weeks before they're expected to because of it. We're also using it for some aspects of our company's Playbook. We've been running small experiments with this and they all seem to be working much nicer than how we were doing it before.
I love how detailed you can get with Trainual. The ability to add links, pictures, videos and even quizzes to each subject is amazing.
I don’t have any serious complaints in regards to trainual. If I had to say something I guess it was initially hard trying to figure out how to make a subject go live.
My company has 24 practices through out DMV so it helps out on boarding and training process a lot because I can’t physically be in the office always to do training. This gives them a good head start.
All the different courses and how easy it is to add topics.
There isn't anything that I don't like about trainual
Training new employees and having it all accessible
Trainual is awesome! Its easy to use, intuitive and so helpful!
So far have not come across any, i am still fairly new to it.
Our trainings used to take forever and were boring. now its interactive, you have notes to look back to if needed and you can even test your staff to see who needs improvement and where!
Trainual has helped change the perspective of the management team to ensure that they are providing the right training for each job position.
Trainual is new and still in development. New features are constantly being pushed out and they can't come fast enough!
We are developing user manuals and training for on boarding, orientation, the systems we use, and standard operating procedures.
