24 Hour Support Latest in Implementation
Don't test implementations thoroughly...
Don't have to worry nearly as much about the cost of the latest applications and implementations that are happening in e-commerce, on a regular basis. Plus their system is robust with 24 hour support, so when things get glitchy, there is someone to reach out to, day or night
That it directly integrates with Square. You can use square for your credit card processor. It has apps built in that others charge for, like pre-orders and returns portals.
Not a huge fan of the changes made to the template builder.
Online selling that integrates with in-store sales. It saves time on tracking inventory.
Create and upload products to your store easily
it ok for me it will be better if there are many beautiful store skins
deliver products to customers because I am a shop owner in Vietnam, so it is very inconvenient to deliver my products to customers
More than anything else, I love the 24-7 customer support
They don't have as many out-of-the-box tools developed as Shopify but what they do have is high quality and helpful.
We wanted the flexibility to add, delete, update products via csv. We wanted to add custom elements to our site that are unique to our business and long-term want to have an open-API so we can expand our site's functionality.
I cherished the flexibility accessible for building item pages, having the option to set it up so valuing changes consequently for various item alternatives, and the import/trade capacities to refresh enormous inventories through Excel archives rather than physically altering inside the web application. Bigcommerce offers probably the most comprehensive features in their entrance level item choices, making them superb for small and large companies alike. Their degree of client care and straightforwardness about assistance issues and new highlights being developed are astounding and maybe one of the primary reasons why we've continued utilizing Bigcommerce as opposed to changing to other ecommerce sites that meets other fundamental highlights that we are as yet anticipating from Bigcommerce. The accessibility of outsider applications (counting transportation and coordination) has been extraordinary to work with up until this point.
It tends to be hard to get a really modified site without recruiting an engineer or putting resources into web improvement abilities of your own. This is additionally valid for their email highlights. In the event that you don't have a fundamental knowledge of HTML, it will be close to difficult to modify their framework messages without an outside arrangement.
Additionally, while their entrance level features are among the best in the business, a couple of highlights, (for example, Google Reviews incorporations and Abandoned Cart Recovery) are held uniquely for higher-level plans, which doesn't really makes sense from a monetary viewpoint as their expenses to help these features ought to be negligible.
The configuration was very simple and it was equally easy to add our products to the sales tool. We are very excited about the good admin management and the additional stock management.
I can't customize several design elements enough for our needs, our widgets are sometimes displayed differently and they are not always updated fast enough.
We can present our products well to our customers and the many features help to increase our sales. The stock management is integrated and so we can completely manage all the sales in one tool.
Big Commerce takes a lot of the work out of managing an e-commerce store. I like the configurability of products (using options and sku's) which is critical to the e-commerce store that I run.
I wish I could configure just a bit more...mostly how the pages display for certain groups of products. I think I can do this individually but that would be a lot of work. I also think the work flow for managing product options could much better.
I also use it for an online product catalog for a manufacturing company with customizable products and confusing part numbers. It helps customers configure and come up with the right part number even though we don't sell to the public.

Love the ease of use, and the ability to be up and running in one day (minus listing all your products) if you have all your products already in a list somewhere you can import them and be completely running in one day! Its is a great platform to create a robust website without compromising on your design. allows for complete theme customization, as well as word press integration
some of the options are not there right now but I believe this is because they are still developing the new UI that they just released hoping they iron out the UI in the coming months, some of these options are still available but only through the API or when you import products
seems to be much less fusing then our main website which we just went through a major upgrade hassle going from Magento to Magento 2
There are some really sharp looking website shop designs that we can use. We can add many different elements to our store items and set custom options to make sense for the types of products we're selling. Adding, removing and editing items doesn't require a ton of fuss to take care of. All of the instructions and guides are laid out quite clearly for everyone, so beginners and advanced users can join in without any major problems.
Before going with BigCommerce, we were exploring more open-ended store development platforms to avoid having to pay higher subscription fees to a company like BigCommerce or Shopify. There are pros and cons to both, so a con of using BigCommerce compared to those other open platforms would be the higher cost.
BigCommerce provides us with an e-commerce platform that enables sales, marketing and payment processing via the internet. With all of the engineering and programming that goes into web-based shopping carts, we can bypass many of the complex hosting, design and development requirements for online stores. BigCommerce has also done a good job at formatting our store pages to be optimized for search engine listings.
The look of most of the website templates are very upscale and professional. The BigCommerce platform gives us leverage for custom options, so we can feel like we can create designs and layouts that are completely fit our vision. The actual shopping experience and payment processing is incredibly smooth and usually without error. It's very important for us to have a store solution that is easy to manage and gives us data for performance insights, and BigCommerce provides all of that for us.
I have yet to run into something that I really dislike about BigCommerce. I've checked out several other e-commerce solutions that are usually talked about when it comes to leaders in the space, but BigCommerce has stood out so far and performed well.
BigCommerce has been a super value for an e-commerce solution. We can integrate it for many projects and has typically run very smoothly with few errors and payment processing that usually goes through without a hitch. For new projects, BigCommerce saves us the hassle from have to program a structure from scratch by enabling the use of quality templates for common industries and products.
BigCommerce is thankfully easy to use, yet provides us with just about all of the capabilities we need in a web store platform. One of the more convenient features for me is the ability to import spreadsheets with product information. The information can essentially be converted to actual store items in our BigCommerce account. That's a really big time-saving feature that could obviously be more useful as you have more products to manage. The templates that are available for BigCommerce are often professional and engaging. I don't really think we can go wrong with many of the templates I've seen.
Compared to other e-commerce solutions, BigCommerce's basic pricing seems to be higher. As far as the platform's performance goes though, I can't pick out anything that I dislike much about it. If someone is perhaps extremely out of touch with internet products like this, then I could see how they might find BigCommerce hard to use.
We've benefited from BigCommerce's stable design, store management and payment processing platform. The customer support team has helped us tremendously with getting certain store settings set up properly. I think we could ultimately figure most issues out with the website and community resources available online, but it's nice to be able to reach out to the support team to resolve issues almost immediately. We have been able to sell many products, both physical and digital, through BigCommerce.
Though many of the standard features in BigCommerce are easy to use, it still has the capability of running very custom websites with robust and advanced custom options. There are many templates that can help us to get a solid foundation going with our designs and store layouts. BigCommerce works with WordPress, so I can have the design tools of WordPress combined with the engaging and stable shopping experience of BigCommerce.
Customizing certain elements with JavaScript or CSS can be confusing. I feel that there's also more risk of causing performance issues when I add or edit code snippets for the shopping cart.
BigCommerce provides a solid and reliable e-commerce platform where I can manage store design, product layouts and payment processing settings. They provide simple ways for us to initiate and activate online stores quickly with templates. We also benefit from BigCommerce's flexibility, which allows us to create highly customized experiences to suit and fit our overall user experience. We have had many sales through BigCommerce and the analytic tools help us to break down or sales data.
BigCommerce provides a great number of innovative features to make businesses with online stores work better. It gathers the best practices for web design and e-commerce worldwide. The online store tools are easy to navigate and use. BigCommerce has a user-friendly design and very detailed search filters. Another thing I like is that BigCommerce has built-in selling tools across such many social media and auction platforms.
I once faced an issue with filtering limitations. I needed to remove some filters, which was not very easy. I also wish there was such function such as product priority where you can choose what to show first. You should also be aware that technical support may provide a response a few days after your request.
BigCommerce has greatly simplified our ability to produce high quality online store experiences with smooth functionality. We can focus more on the visual design elements and less on the coding and other technical matters. BigCommerce seems to use the standard practices for the web design and e-commerce industries worldwide, which is very important for maintain a high performance level and customer experience. We can use one of many quality templates to make our initial design work and layout structuring much easier to do.
What I like best is the ability to integrate apps easily such as Shipstation, which makes paying for labels, and printing, easier. I can also integrate a better review app such as JudgeMe. Customer support is responsive and feels like a powerful system. It also does not need as many apps to work great, unlike Shopify. Plenty of customization with very fine details.
I dislike that the entry-level subscription does not have an abandoned-cart recovery. I also dislike that hosted banner images on mobile do not display in high quality.I contacted support about the issue and they got back to me quickly but the issue has not been fixed.
For me, it solved having to figure out how to install a payment processor. I currently integrate Stripe and it was very easy to install and setup through Bigcommerce. I realized that I can also integrate multiple payment systems easily, allowing for more variety during check out for customers.
I like that there is a free package option based on the sales a business does each month. This is a great platform for businesses who are new to an online storefront and don’t want to add too much overhead to their business before they know how they will perform online.
There are a lot of different tabs and places to get a little lost. However, big commerce does provide video tutorials for everything so if you find yourself getting overwhelmed, these can help.
As stated earlier, this relieves the stress of needing to move online in a digital age, but not having a large budget to do so. Big commerce definitely allows for a “one foot in front of the other” approach to building your online store.
well,i like this about because i am using bigcommerce for a co-own website syvanz.com. Bigcommerce is for everyone, anyone can setup his/her own business. I like bigcommerce than shopify because to be eligible in shopify you must a credit card but for bigCommerce its not. So get it ready with paypal.
Big commerce lacks quality like Shopify but also better than shopify in eligiblity terms. i dont have dislike but they could better if they provide more free themes.
i am solvingan e-commerce business and i realized that it is a bit better than shopify in pricing terms.
Platform is strong with excellent information structure, and lots of alternatives to support our requirements. Field assistance is doing not have, nevertheless, leaving us to completely depend on the experience 3rd party designers
If you have a broad product catalog, much deeper combination into existing information can be an obstacle to really benefit from the information
Good ecommerce platform
Easy to navigate through and change fonts.
Not to many choices of free website designs
Able to connect to Google to increase sales revenue
