WooCommerce is the top choice for eCommerce businesses on WordPress. While it’s not a standalone site builder, it works seamlessly with the WordPress environment which makes it easy to use and simple, even for beginners. Anyone familiar with WordPress will find WooCommerce a great tool as they attempt to build out their site. WooCommerce works well with add-ons and integrations, with tools that include email marketing, social media selling, and one-click upsells. It does require basic coding know-how and developer insight as you scale the site, but learning the ins and outs of the platform ultimately makes management of the site so much simpler.

WooCommerce is one of the best integration software that goes well with WordPress for all e-commerce solutions. It gives the dashboard access to add inventory, update pricing, view orders, etc.
There's nothing much to dislike in WooCommerce, but it can have extensive features like Shopify.
WooCommerce is a one-stop e-commerce solution; we have integrated our WordPress website with WooCommerce. It helps us to access the complete backend admin panel of the website.
who have interested to make an e-commerce website woo-commerce is the one and best option. stunning features are available in woocommerce it's extremely appreciated
Lack of plugins and themes most good themes and plugins are payable. compared to other platforms. so provide some free plugins and themes for a better experience.
everything under one roof so the middle-scale business can make an e-commerce website easily. the main thing after the website is launched managing the website is very simple.
Woocommerce is very easy to use and there is no need to learn coding. Everything is possible using plugins which makes our lives easier. Woocommerce also helps simplify the website for seo optimization.
When compared to Shopify, Woocommerce does not have standardised optimized product listing, product details and checkout pages. There are some custom plugins that cause compatibility issues with Woocommerce plugin that is the only thing I dislike.
Woocommerce is helping me sell my products online without the need of doing any external coding. Everything is easy to use and I don't need to hire a developer to integrate ecommerce functionality into my website.
My first website was a WordPress blog. So it was natural I chose Woocommerce as an online shopping platform when I started my first estore. It was an apparel online shop and Woocommerce perfectly met all my requirements. Easy to install and set up, hundreds of plugins and boosters to upgrade.
I am not a coder and some of the upgrades or changes require PHP knowledge. The rest is totally find and I don't see any other reasons to dislike this great ecommerce platform which helps me to earn money.
Currently I have two estores with Woocommerce. One for clothes and apparel, the second one for jewelry (hand made). Both have different Wordpress versions but still work perfectly.
I like WordPress and WordPress likes Woocommerce. I have made more than 10 online shops with Woocommerce for my clients and so far everyone is happy how it works. I prefer Woocommerce for its functionality. Woocommerce is well optimized for managing product categories, payment options, product variations etc.
Woocommerce is big and heavy, but if your hosting or server is good enough you'll never mention it. Also Woocommerce could have better filters. It was always the most problematic task for me to set up products filters as I need.
Woocommerce is a ecommerce platform I usually instal and set up for my client who ask me to create an onnline shop for them. Moreover, I also run my personal estore on Woocommerce.
Woocommerce is a very useful platform for new age business which are willing to enter into e-commerce industry. It gives option for customisation according to business need, its an open source platform and through wodresspress plugin any one can setup its store online. Woocommerce also provide community support and it is giving 30 days money back guarantee and it is safe and secure.
Its a wordpress plugin so only can be used with wordpress sites, its Extensions require high payment which make it less favourable with customers, backup of data is not much good
Online e-commerce business, Customisation of store, selling products online, Sending invitation for webinar and seminars, business expansion and making online presence
Free to use. A ton of Integrations with Third-party solutions. Mobile App available. Plugins available for most of the things you would need for your store.
UI/UX could be improved. It is very resource hungry. You need a solid server to run WooCommerce.
Settings up eCommerce stores and selling online.
Woocommerce is a completely free platform that supports awesome page builders. It’s also easy to learn and use for a beginner like myself, who started with Shopify and eventually transitioned to Woocommerce. It has a huge community of like-minded Woocommerce dev community support. It’s constantly being improved and updated by an open-source community.
It has a steep learning curve if you want to be creative or integrate with other apps. You’ll need to invest time in learning all the technicalities to become an expert Woocommerce user like connecting SMTP services. There are dozens of moving parts and settings you have to configure to get everything working the way you want. Even if you have some experience working with WordPress, the admin area of a WooCommerce store can be frustratingly difficult to navigate for example, the report/ analytics sections don't have enough data and the ux is simply annoying.
The major problem that I solved was that I could design my site like modern-day brands, which was honestly not possible on Shopify. Also all the SEO optimizations are limited when it comes to Shopify.
WooCommerce makes it easy to upload your products and details to display on your website. I've worked with other eCommerce plugins before and they don't compare to WooCommerce. WooCommerce is the best free eCommerce plugin there is. There are also upgrades you can add to make the plugin even better
For the most part, I love WooCommerce. If there were anything that I dislike is the I wish more of the upgrades were free. Like the Shipment Tracking upgrade is $49.00 annually. Even if it was a one-time fee, I would be happy with that.
Before I moved my eCommerce site to WordPress, I was using a shopping cart software that required a lot of coding which took a lot of my time. When I moved my site to WordPress and downloaded WooCommerce I realized right away how much easier it was to add products to my site. Now I can spend more time working on my products instead of hours updating the website.
I like that WooCommerce is setup to work with Wordpress. If you already have a Wordpress site, you can install the WooCommerce plugin and you're ready to start selling.
I don't like that there are a few missing pieces (no terms and conditions generator) or other plugins that may need to be installed. More plugins can lead to a bulkier website.
I can sell directly from my website rather than rely on third-party apps. This is beneficial in that I can directly link to my site on social media and other sites. It's great for branding for a business.
Large number of plugins available to enhance your website.
Nothing so far. The platform integrates well with other platforms, in particular WordPress and Shopify
No problems so far.
- Integration not only with WordPress but other platforms - quick and simple
It would be great if Woommerce was to provide an end to end solution, but does great as it is.
The main reason for going via WooCommerce was due to integration into WordPress. 1 Key feature we required during new product launches was Pre-Orders that WC was hands down the best option.
WooCommerce is simple and easy to use. It doesn't require extensive knowledge of web design and allows you to quickly get an eCommerce site up and going.
A few things -- in order to get our site where we wanted it, we had to download several plugins. It's not ready to go as soon as you download most of the time. With the standard WooCommerce, you can't do as much in terms of customizing. You again need to have additional plugins to make it "what you want." However, these things are easy to work through and the platform is worth it.
ECommerce is an important part of our business. We didn't have an eCommerce platform before and we've realized how much happier our customers are.
I like that they have an open app market and it's pretty customizable from all aspects. If you can think it up, the likelihood is that it can be accomplished
It's not the most simple solution but its the best solution
I am using it to sell products on a website
Woocommerce projects very flexible features according to its functionality, mentioning that it allows easy and fast integration with different platforms to structure different work operations. I like it since the large proportion of its functions is free, highlighting that it accesses people with experience in the matter, in relation to web design, the ability to sell products and services in a more contributing way.
It would be quite useful for this platform to offer tutorials on how to handle some of the challenging tools that this platform acquires, to make internal work more flexible on augmentative issues, being a significant point since it currently slows down work considerably.
We use Woocommerce for a unique and significant purpose from our point of view since it is used to make the sales of our products and industrial services that we offer to large companies and companies, which we have achieved a large income entry and a sales calculation carried out, quite numerous, which makes this software a fundamental pillar for the performance that we constantly execute on the network, being a powerful marketing system for us.
