"Great Place To Buy/Store Domains"
What do you like best about GoDaddy?

It is super easy to buy and transfer domains for a variety of clients.

What do you dislike about GoDaddy?

The format just keeps changing. I only use Godaddy every few months or so, but every time I feel like I have to relearn it.

What problems is GoDaddy solving and how is that benefiting you?

As a web designer, it's really useful to have domains in one place where I also don't host websites. Often my clients will all use different hosts, so having access to them all in once place makes things a heck of a lot easier.

"Get's the job done!"
What do you like best about GoDaddy?

GoDaddy is straight forward with prices and services and is my go to for web hosting. The price is reasonable for the service provided. My experience with canceling and transferring domains and hosting for clients was very simple and quick. Their were no hoops to jump through and it was easy to navigate to the account manager.I recently transferred a website for a client and everything was finished within 10 minutes. I get an email notification every time my hosting is renewed.

What do you dislike about GoDaddy?

The web hosting email had some kinks when I first started using GoDaddy as my website hosting provider. I was having trouble forwarding my emails to my main business email. After missing a few emails I tried to resubmit my request for forwarding and have not had an issue after that. The actual checkout on the website seemed like a longer process then it needed to be. With automatic renewal on my account I haven't had to deal with this issue since the first time I purchased my domain and web hosting. The automatic renewal makes up for the extra questions being asked when first signing up.

What problems is GoDaddy solving and how is that benefiting you?

I use GoDaddy for domain registration and website hosting for my personal website and recommend it to clients if they prefer having easy access to their account and enable them to make changes on their own.

"Not sure if confusing or I'm just not tech-y enough; overall Good"
What do you like best about GoDaddy?

I like how they simplify things; when I wanted to connect my domain to my website, it was easy and simplified on GoDaddy's end (as opposed to the complexity of SquareSpace where my sight is hosted). I also LOVED my customer service experience. I was really struggling because I could not login or access my account for a long time, but the chat feature on Go Daddy's site was helpful and they were able to reset it very quickly. Also like the price - not too expensive.

What do you dislike about GoDaddy?

There is not much that I dislike. What was confusing, however, is the username vs "email on file" vs customer number vs "domain on file" - that can be very annoying especially since I am prone to forgetting things and trying to recover passwords, usernames, etc.

What problems is GoDaddy solving and how is that benefiting you?

I am using Go Daddy for my personal photography business. I just started using it so I do not understand most terms like bandwidth and other technical things but so far I am loving having my own unique domain for my website and it seems to be everything I need.

"One of the Best Web Hosting Services in the Market"
What do you like best about GoDaddy?

Think what you may of the eccentric founder of GoDaddy, the fact remains that it is one of the best web hosting companies in the market. It's reliable, affordable, and easy to setup.

What do you dislike about GoDaddy?

You may have to experience downtimes from time to time. It's a little expensive, compared to other web hosting services such as iPage and Namecheap.

What problems is GoDaddy solving and how is that benefiting you?

I'm currently using GoDaddy to run a couple of my blogs. GoDaddy is easy to setup with a friendly interface, and the customer support team is always ready to help.

"GoDaddy has viable options for consideration"
What do you like best about GoDaddy?

GoDaddy has several reasonably priced options that make it a one-stop shop. You can register domains, manage DNS, and set up hosting or a Website Builder site for management. The have continuously improved interfaces for each. Being able to have clients share access to their accounts without giving their account credentials is a big plus.

What do you dislike about GoDaddy?

They have removed coupons in favor of their Discount Domain Club, so unless you have many domains, you can seldom save unless you are a new customer or catch certain sales. Shared Hosting and Managed Hosting for specific apps like WordPress has it's own set of resource limitations, but this is the same issue with all shared hosting. If you are looking for higher resource usage, certain ports to be open, etc. then you need to look into VPS or other hosting. Website Builder can help build sites fast, but you will be compromising convenience for control and flexibility. Of the many website builders out there, this falls around the middle. It is worth the value, but does leave much to be desired.

What problems is GoDaddy solving and how is that benefiting you?

We are trying to solve managing as many client services in one area. Benefits of using GoDaddy include being able to have clients share their account access with us while still letting them have control and ownership of their own account.

"Great domain registrar"
What do you like best about GoDaddy?

I've been using GoDaddy for years to register domain names, SSL certificates and more. They have great customer service and are basically available whenever you need them. Their tech people can help when you have no idea what's happening or why, and can assist you in whatever ways you need on their services.

What do you dislike about GoDaddy?

The renewal rates are not as competitive as other services. I often switch my domain names between a few registrars to get the lowest price for the renewals.

What problems is GoDaddy solving and how is that benefiting you?

In business, you need a website. GoDaddy can help with that process by registering, hosting and providing service for your domain.

"Straightforward hosing and domain registration."
What do you like best about GoDaddy?

GoDaddy does everything I need in one package. It's easy enough that someone without a technical background can get started, but it doesn't hold back any of the more complicated aspects if you want to find them. It's easy to get started with a word press template for your main page. There is a ton of documentation specific to GoDaddy to tell you exactly how to do more complicated things if you look.

What do you dislike about GoDaddy?

This may be due to the complicated nature of web hosting, but there can definitely be a learning curve. It would definitely help if there were something like tooltips to explain certain terms, and if the menus were more consistent across the different internal products.

What problems is GoDaddy solving and how is that benefiting you?

Having my own hosting account and domain registration has been great for me as a designer. Of course it's important to have a site to show off my work, but the ability to create subdomians is also helpful when i need a sandbox to try things out.

"Using Go Daddy to create website "
What do you like best about GoDaddy?

I find using Go Daddy extremely enjoyable, creating a website through their platform is very cheap and easy. It is also possible to buy and sell domains through Go Daddy which again is very easy to do.

What do you dislike about GoDaddy?

It can be a little difficult/slow to switch between domains in your account, Also using the website builder can be a little slow, but this is understandable.

What problems is GoDaddy solving and how is that benefiting you?

I have found it very beneficial using Go Daddy to create the websites that I need for my business, the customer service is excellent! They go out of their way to help out with any problems you might have.

"Alright for domain hosting"
What do you like best about GoDaddy?

They provide their service just what you need . No less than necessary service and also quickly. But NO free non-essential service. You get what you paid for. With purchasing a domain-name, i get: * full control over the DNS management, * email forwarding, * one-page landing site * a photo gallery, which i don't use

What do you dislike about GoDaddy?

* A little pushy for selling non-essential services for quite a bit high price, * So many email in disguise of account "update", but actually they're sales mails * the GUI of the webapp is little backdated. * also the button and labels are sometimes confusing

What problems is GoDaddy solving and how is that benefiting you?

* got personal domain name from them * as a basic service, i get a free landing-page * also mail-address forwarding service is free.

"Go-To for hosting - simple, inexpensive"
What do you like best about GoDaddy?

It is very helpful that you can reserve URLs almost instantaneously, which helps with the work I do in advertising. It allows us to create target landed pages and test sites for certain groups of customers, or to check how much traffic we get from a certain media item. GoDaddy is easy to use and inexpensive.

What do you dislike about GoDaddy?

Sometimes email notifications about site verifications or confirmations of different actions can be confusing and not well described. As simple as GoDaddy can be, it is also very powerful, and that can be intimidating or frustrating for a new user who knows what they want to do with a given URL, etc. but isn't sure how to make it happen as fast as they need to.

What problems is GoDaddy solving and how is that benefiting you?

GoDaddy allows us to finetune our client media work...it gives us options to create pages, even temporarily, for certain customer segments to visit. It allows us to maintain a high degree of tracking and monitoring. And, for short term campaigns and such, it can be used just for a few weeks or months -- at a low expense, it is easy to customize the length of use and tailor it to business needs.

"Well known name in web hosting"
What do you like best about GoDaddy?

Go Daddy is easy. It is user friendly and support is easily reached. I can always find a coupon code for renewing my hosting at a discounted price.

What do you dislike about GoDaddy?

It wasn't quite as easy to use as other hosting sites I've used. I just didn't like it as much overall. I can't tell you why, just a feeling.

What problems is GoDaddy solving and how is that benefiting you?

I have my own digital design and photography business so I need a website. I designed my own site and needed a host. I have used Godaddy and it helps legitimize my business. I have used it both to register a domain and host a website.

"Overall, great platform"
What do you like best about GoDaddy?

It's fairly user friendly, especially to someone who has little to no background with creating a website

What do you dislike about GoDaddy?

It can be a little simplistic, which wasn't a problem for me, but it might not be the best fit for people looking for more

What problems is GoDaddy solving and how is that benefiting you?

The site is no longer operating, but at the time it allowed myself and my business partners the opportunity to show off our product in a more professional way and give a face to our name.

"One of the Best Hoting Service"
What do you like best about GoDaddy?

The easy interface, the support and the costs for each service. Also the upgradable option is fitting very well with growing business. Go daddy has got awesome tools for building scalable web site and web platform.

What do you dislike about GoDaddy?

Maybe sometimes it's hard to find stuff and I had trouble for modify the domain. Also the cost for transport the domain to Godaddy it's a little bit high.

What problems is GoDaddy solving and how is that benefiting you?

We were looking for a scalable hosting service with high potential low rate of offline server. It has the possibility to upgrade in a few clicks with a good rate of coss/benefits

"The go-to hosting provider when you really need one!"
What do you like best about GoDaddy?

GoDaddy is one of the more popular hosting providers out there -- and you can tell from the amount of users they current server. The thing that GoDaddy does best is providing domain name registration and obviously, hosting, but the benefits of using GoDaddy over any other providers is set-up speed. It doesn't take a long time or a lot of documentation reading to get your website up in minutes (almost literally). They provide a lot of easy-to-read documentation on everything -- from setting up mail, to databases, to viewing the control panel -- everything's there. GoDaddy is also very good at providing a bunch of one-click install set-ups and templates for those who are not as tech savvy and want to create a website.

What do you dislike about GoDaddy?

Even though GoDaddy is one of the more prominent companies in the hosting market, they have a few things that are disliked. First would have to be customer service -- they do not have the best customer service in the world -- and if you want something a bit more technical than what they offer on the basic level, you will have to go through a few representatives before you encounter someone who has the technical expertise to help you. Secondly, their options are pretty limited in terms of packages. The basic package is cheap, but you will need to upgrade at least another level if you don't want your website to be crawling.

What problems is GoDaddy solving and how is that benefiting you?

Finding hosting providers for myself and for clients. There are bunch of benefits in choosing GoDaddy - one of which is the benefit of having a website up without knowledge of programming. There are many one-click set-ups available and templates to choose from, but the caveat of choosing these options is that your website will be bare minimum and will look similar to a lot of websites already out there on the web.

"GoDaddy is great for most people! "
What do you like best about GoDaddy?

Very user friendly for beginners, stable and well maintained. Their DNS service is excellent, one of the best out there.

What do you dislike about GoDaddy?

Too limited, like so many shared hosting companies of its kind. You don't get SSH access, only cPanel, which is great for standard users, but for server admin-types, this is a real limitation indeed. It's the nature of the beast with shared hosting... if you want full access to a vm, you're better off going with a VPS provider like VPSDime.

"GoDaddy - Always a Dependable Option"
What do you like best about GoDaddy?

There are many things that GoDaddy does well when it comes to Web Hosting. I think the two things that really shine for them are their reliable uptime (I've never had an issue with a site going down) and the rock star support team. They're live chat reps are always super helpful and responsive.

What do you dislike about GoDaddy?

I'm pretty knowledgeable when it comes to setting up web hosting and getting a site up and running but I really don't feel like GoDaddy is geared towards someone with a novice experience of these things. The few times I did HAVE to use GoDaddy's wordpress setup, it was bulky and confusing. I also dislike how they charge for their website builder. So many other services offer this sort of feature for free when you pay for the hosting.
