Drift has a great Support team and Customer Success account management team who are attentive and genuinely understand your objectives and pain points.
The tool is fundamentally great, but some obvious UX improvements/flexibilities (IMHO) have been overlooked and not yet prioritized by their product dev team.
Drift helps us capitalize on the huge web traffic we receive, converting the relevant visitors faster - generating leads/meetings for Sales to follow up on.

Removing friction from qualifying/conversion experience. This is the best part of Drift. It's a direct line to leads!
It is very quick on responses to the prospect and even sending out meeting calendars to them. Also keeping track of our calendar on real time basis.
Sometimes there are few delays in the drift notifications. Also when I was on low usage of drift chat service on my cell phone, the notifications disabled by themselves.
Getting more connections and being in sales, the connection is very important when you have a prospect replying to you on your questions and comments/.

Drift is helping our team connect with customers quickly and deliver the information they need. It is also supporting lead capture for sales.
We absolutely love our Drift Representative, Amanda, and our Professional Services Representative, Julia. They are truly the reason for our success with Drift. We are a very small team internally and our team at Drift has been such a good resource as an extension of our team. We consistently go over our goals and progress towards benchmarks, as well as try new innovative ideas and A/B testing. I would say I have been pleasantly surprised with the support/service aspect of Drift and consider them one of our best vendors.
The onboarding/launch of our chat bot was not as smooth as it could have been. I could have used some more education and training on the back end of the tool - specifically the field mapping and tagging strategies. Some of our data is sloppy because we redid it post-launch.
They have made it easy for us to get meetings booked on-demand, and deflect irrelevant traffic.
Not only is the Drift consulting team extremely helpful and responsive, but the tool itself has been amazing. Compared to our previous chat, this has AI built-in, it allows for personalization, it connects with our CRM and it's extremely easy to manage.
There have been some product enhancements that we've suggested to the team, mainly around QA and the ability to preview an entire chat experience from beginning to end.
Drift has solved three problems for us. First, it allows visitors to get the answers to their questions without having to dig through our site. Second, it has alleviated support-related questions that our sales team ends up with, and third, it has driven a huge amount of leads and attributed revenue!
Drift is one of the best chatbots to be used on the website that helps connect with customers who are just browsing through the website and connect with them to see what they are looking for rather than reaching us through a typical contact us form
I haven't seen any downsides so far most of the features are pretty useful and customizable that caters to different Business requirements
Drift is used as Chatbot on our website to proactively engage with visitors to gather more info on what they are looking for and then connect to Sales with meeting invites based on their calendar availability. As it integrates pretty well with Hubspot or Salesforce the data flow is seamless with the field mapping

I've been a Drift user for multiple companies, and this is the first time we've invested in Professional Services, and if there was one thing I could go back and tell a "previous me" one thing to invest in, it would be this. Within the first hour of services, our PS rep optimized 20+ small issues that allowed our chatbots to fire properly, driving an increase in booked meetings within the first week. They are also working with me on a roadmap of priorities that will continue to help us convert prospects on our site, quickly.
I wish we would have done this sooner, and possibly more hours.
Drift is helping us engage with the right prospects, faster, while allowing us to weed out visitors that we would not do business with. Within the first week of deploying the changes that the PS team helped us with, we saw an increase in booked meetings.
Being able to see my script and the best part is when you read the script, it looks like you are looking at the camera! Also, I get notified when someone watches my videos and how long. Lastly, the chatbot interacts with thr prospect and asks valuable questions, like any questions, or schedule a meeting.
There is a glitch whe I go between screens, it keep kicking me out of the browser, but im pretty sure they ll take care of it soon.
Turning cold leads into warm leads, give me visibility on whats the interaction of my outreach, also because it is very easy and convenient to use, I was able to go from barely 10 videos a day to 20-25 videos a day in the same time.
The best part of drift is the ability to have it in multiple places. I am able to have the extension at the top of my browser as well as have it embedded directly within g-mail.
There really aren't too many negatives to using Drift. Occasionally, you will get a notification that "someone has viewed content from your website" but cannot see who exactly was on it.
Sales engagement is the key to this tool. By using Drift, I had detailed analytics that helped me not only personalize my outreach but also see when would be the best time to follow up.
Support: The support comes with a price, but its worth it. Anytime you missout on something, you can contact them. They will definitely help solve the problem. Features: A recent feature for adding widgets withdifferent language. As we are a global company we wanted to have bots with different languages for different countries. This features have sorted the issue for us. Simple yet clear reporting. The Dashboard gives a gist of how your bots are performing on any given day, which agent had more meetings booked and other stats. Drift Video feature makes most of our jobs quite easier. With Videos, we record answer videos and send it to customers at times.
Price. Price. Price. It costs close to $500/month, which is too high compared to its competitors.
We use it for lead capturing and website guidance for our customers. With bot, now we have a new channel for leads. We are getting new leads every single day and few leads are turning into sales/business.
