Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento) is a hosted and open-source product and is one of the biggest website builders today, with major blue-chip brands like Nike and Cisco among its roster of clients. The Adobe Commerce environment is also scalable, however, it does require some coding knowledge to maximize. The platform has a lot of customization options and offers trigger-based automated marketing features and automatic cross-selling and upselling features.

It is the best marketing software and it provide the best service of the costumer for very easiest way. We also deal with the costumer in a better way. It can provide guaranteed security to your costumers as all transactions are secured with robust data encryption. Magento is also optimized to work with thousands of products, tons of traffic, and a big number of sales. In other words, it’s for the bigger e-commerce store out there. The one of the biggest advantages of that software, Magento is a perfectly scalable system, so you can switch up your programs.
This is an expensive software because it's all features are outstanding and difficult so everyone cannot use this feature. It can't provide the best support of our customers. The one most important problem is that software, that should be fixed with an upload sometime are not. Its search functionality is very limited, and this software is available for free, if you want to get a reliable and qualitative costumer. This software creates the different problem of our system. It cannot provide the best security of our system and can't save our information in this software. But conclude that this software is very efficient and easy to use. This is the best marketing software and best platform for our business.
This is the best managing software and the great platform for our customers. It provides the best sales price of our customers. I use this software because it makes my life too much easy and all the features are outstanding. I recommended to use this software because it is more storage software and great efficient software. I personally use this software and my all the observation is almost positive. I really like to use this software.
We use magento for our site needs. We've been utilizing it for a couple of years now yet most as of late structure our new site. It's been very useful setting up the checkout procedure for the books we sell on the web.
Now and then it very well may be difficult to utilize and alter certain highlights and get it to for example work with Wordpress.
With Magento, we had the capacity to expand our income streams by adding an internet business store to our site. This enabled us to grow our business from administrations as well as to administrations and products.
M2e pro program connection. we sell a lot on amazon and it helps
There is nothing to hate about it . it a nice program
selling on amazon and ebay and maintaining our own website
Very good working platform with one of the largest community. You can use it for almost everything in eCommerce as it is extremely customizable and extendable. There is an extension for almost everything you want. The new 2 version is also much better looking and optimised.
The main disadvantage comes from its main advantage: being too complex make it too clumsy. You need really a good hardware to make your store fast enough. Caching helps a lot, but there is room for improvement.
We sell online and use Magento for our online store. The biggest benefit for us is customization, extendability and integration with other systems.
It's a single interface to control all of your orders, shipments and inventory
The price varies according to the use of the software, so this is not for small companies.
Organizing the e-commerce business, in special when you have multiple vendors, this is a great tool to control orders and also to deal with clients that need to split orders and partial shipments.
My Favorite part of this software is the ability to bulk discount. I have not found another platform that can do this, even to this very day.
The biggest downfall is the ability to custom design the pages, I had to hire someone each time as it was very frustrating to do on my own.
Being able to include wedding favors or bulk purchases into a platform and allow the payment to go through with the discount included is a huge plus when running an online store.
Free is good - of course there are other associated costs - but it's a great way to start.
I wish it was more user friendly and didn't rely on 'experts' so much - why can't they make a Magento that is more intuitive to use? this is the age of WIX and Shopify -
Getting out of my outdated existing ecommerce program.
It is an amazingly complex software, it can do and achieve great performance from custom process to easy A/B testing, one ofthe leaders in it's field is a great tools for building at a great pace. Can withstand great volumes of traffic and still have a great speed.
The pricing is on match, with thebasics starting at over 1500 pounds, but it delivers on its promises and then some.
Customer engament and fullfiling orders. Can custommake every page and process easily.
I love the custom options that allow you to apply the same options to multiple products quickly.
I dislike the feature of not being able to copy and paste certain values.
We have solved a lot of of product catalog issues and product display.
Magento is about is good as it gets for off the shelf e-commerce plat forms. The front end templates are robust and elegant and the backend UI is pleasure to work with. One gets the immediate feeling that great thought and planning went into making Magento a platform that just about anyone can easily adopt in their web presence. Under the hood Magento really shines as well, the MCV architecture along with a CLI tool (although more complex in version 2) is really a developers delight.
Sites can grow into huge platforms and file systems, thus some more robust backend file management tools would be very welcomed, although noting that a developer with decent bash scripting or powershell experience cant over come. I would like to see some more 3rd extensions for various LAMP/LEMP/IIS caching made available.
Rapid development, ease of use, and almost instant ROI. Many commercially themes and templates are available for rapid launch awith unique banding which is a good option to get started, but investment in development hours will be needed in the log run to produce a more unique and heavily branded UI/UX. Good new is the platform framework is ready to expand and grow when the owner is.
Answers are so easy to find. That is a huge benefit
Parts of the back-end are hard to navigate.
eCommerce
The interface that provide multiple options such as payment portal, adding more than 100000 products.paypl integration
For people using magenta, they should have basic knowledge about pho.
Time optimization
Well thought through, with design thinking for everything needed in an e-shop.The community behind it which has made the platform fast enough, large enough with features and etc.
Quite hard to upgrade to a new version.
Setting up an entire ecommerce platform.
Large number of extensions. Easy integration
After its bought by Ebay the evolution are too slow. Have a lot of bad developed extensions that cause a lot of problems.
When we started to use that havent many solution available and reliable. Today have some other but Magento are already integrated to our operation and it was so easy.
The flexibility of Magento Enterprise is second to none for an off the shelf enterprise solution.
With great flexibility comes great responsibility! Having an experienced developer is key to developing Magento because one wrong move can become a set back.
We have been able to solve our subscription / autoship problem utilizing Magento Enterprise and a first class subscription system called Subscribe Pro.
Easy to use, HUNDREDS, if not thousands of free apps, not to mention the payed apps, which are really, really good. What's not to like? I've developed 6 e-commerce sites on this platform so far and I've always been amazed how easy it is to get from 0 to a premium e-shop, with basic programming knowledge. You can get an e-shop running in about 2-3 months, depending on skill, with less than 1000$. The cheapeste I could make was 50$, not including server costs!
Can be a bit tricky to master the programming side if you're building custom apps by yourself or trying to integrate an API. It requires a strong server if you have a lot of products. Sometimes the full page cache apps can be a pain to setup and might require some advance knowledge, but for small shops you can live without it.
Selling products to our customers was never easier. We build our last e-shop in less than 60 days, from idea to launch, giving us more time and money to think of marketing, sourcing and other startup issues that might have appeared.
Magento has a vast collection of themes, apps, and community 3rd party extensions that prove to be quite useful. Since it is such a commonly used platform (for obvious reasons) there are great forums and constants always working to bring the best out of each patch update. Long-term support and investment in the platform is obvious, they clearly are not resting on their laurels even with the great versions they've created.
Magento can do it all, it's pretty vast. It's almost too vast however and it's easy to get lost in it's depths at times. Support is great but as with many platforms it doesn't come cheap especially since it's so in-demand. When it's setup it can do the lot but it takes a bit to setup. That plus their transition to a new code re-write in a 2.0 version is putting much more work on existing users to move with the innovative upgrades. If you don't move with the upgrades you lose support. If you lose support, you are more vulnerable to getting outdated or hacked.
Magento is allowing our business to manage multiple e-commerce storefronts and display high quality responsive content for view in an array of platforms.
The platform is highly stable, if you're going to have a problem its because of some custom development piece. It's also highly modular and versatile, and allows adding new features and applications to the system a breeze (once you have learnt how it works at least, there is a steep development learning curve). It's very easy to setup for the novice user, and is extremely feature rich for a cheap platform. Once your system is completely setup, you can almost leave it alone and just let it sell!
Doesn't ship with important features like abandoned cart, this is less than a weeks development for any competent Magento developer. There are a few bugs, Magento's stock PayPal module doesn't play well with Magento's tax system especially for uneven figures such as .99, this causes PayPal not to work at all in some instances.
Solving specific to the art industry, which is a relatively unscathed area of E-commerce which is growing at a rapid pace! This involves a lot of API's, due to various business requirements.
Flexibility of the product to allow customisation of any aspect of its features and expansion to cater for clients own requirements or specifications.
Some elements are rough around the edges and inconsistent coding practices.
I develop modules and extensions for the Magento ecosystem on behalf of clients. This may be to enhance current features or to add more functionality.
The best part of Magento is how easy it is to use. I can make swift changes in the back end that results in a great looking front end.
To be honest, I don't really dislike anything.
We use Magento as a catalog site for our furniture business. It allows our customers to research our products before visiting our store.
