Time Doctor provides an effective and cost-efficient choice for time tracking a project management. I use this product with all of my client projects and I love that I can provide them with their own login credentials which give them access to their file and related screenshots.
The only shortcomings with Time Doctor are not offering an annual subscription discount for solo users and having somewhat weak and slow customer service replies.
Time Doctor has helped me solve my need for a time tracker with screenshot capabilities. The vast report options have made it easier for me to complete invoicing and keep my clients up-to-date.

The learning curve is a bit difficult, takes time to really master it...
As companies are increasingly outsourcing and working with remote employees, this is the perfect tool.

Have had some problems with it crashing when OS was updated.
It has been very helpful to accurately track time spent on our work for our customers. Billing is easier, we are able to track each project for each person and each task performed by the employee. Customers can be billed accurately and payroll for staff and contractors is accurately tracked.

One of the best ways to monitor people who are working remotely. If required it will screen shot computer and share it with an employer. when compared to competitors its price is a little less.
Its customer support is very worst, They won't respond in time. If they can respond back in time it would be helpful. we reached them for an issue but it took days to hear back.
It solved the problem of monitoring remote employees. There were many employees who logged in and did their personal thing, But after this software, has increased productivity to max.
Excelente timeline reports, precise information about the personnel attendance, the total working hours tracked, and the app and web usage. Its also really easy to use, with an intuitive desktop app.
The screenshots can be a breach of privacy, and the software takes them randomly, so it can compromise the personal information you display on your screen. Also, the software can stop tracking time if detect low activity on the mouse and keyboard, which can be useful for certain roles. But for others roles that need to wait for a call or contact can be coercive to keep certain activities to not let the software stop tracking time
It has helped me stay focused, avoid wasting time, and also know how I am distributing time between tasks. This has increased my productivity and has helped me know where I should focus to get better results.
Time Doctor is a good tool which provides multiple useful features such as time tracking, attendance based on geolocation, screen capturing and others. Time doctor is suitable from SME to big corporate world usage
The downside of using time doctor is it should cover more devices as nowadays BYOD is being used everywhere.
we can properly be tracking our talents hours of working + their productivity
It's not as intrusive as other "employee monitoring" tools.
The concept of monitoring employees itself. There are other, better ways to track time on projects. But it's good for what it's supposed to do, at least.
We used to work remotely and our boss wanted to monitor our work computer screens and time logged in for work. They use its recorded hours to pay us.
Efficiently counts the working hours, we can pause time whenever we want and It would automatically take snaps of the display, for tracking purpose although it's user- friendly.
I do not have complaints about using this; I found it's pretty easy to use for tracking purposes. But sometimes, it would show the wrong timing.
Time tracking made easy using this software, monitoring; we can click on the pause button whenever we are on the break and click once we log in. It shows the accurate hours of work.
The app can be downloaded on the android and if somebody is working from phone, it gets counted in time doctor. A good way to monitor employee effective hours in this pandemic.
The interface and features can be improved I feel.
Tracking working hours of my fellow team mates. Checking if breaks are not overly long.
The overall user interface is good. Easy to navigate with all the options. Flexibility to manage the screenshot timings. Reports are pretty straightforward, and the dashboard gives a good overview of productivity.
Comparing to other tools we have recently explore, it has limited options. The cost is at the higher end. The installation and uninstallation process is too messy. I consider this more like a screen capturing or employee monitoring tool rather than a complete productivity tool.
Since we have moved to remote, the biggest issue we had was data security and productivity management. With Time Doctor, we can manage the IT security, but still, we need to relay some manual reports for productivity.
Integration with JIRA ;) The tickets will automatically be displayed in the app. You can track time and it will be automatically logged into JIRA tickets. Which is cool and let's you use all the native measuring tools.
The fact that the new TimeDoctor v2 doesn't have such integration with JIRA. Having a "start/stop" button within the ticket in JIRA is not worth it. Every other time tracking app has this feature. So the coolest thing from TD "Classic" didn't make it to v2. Which makes us worry that it might be discontinued in the future (I hope not).
Easy time tracking. That is easily transferred to JIRA (which doesn't have the fastest UI, you know).
