Tidio is the best chat bot we've used and we've used several different ones. The best part is you can create your own bot and incorporate photos, custom discussion pathways, web visitors don't even have to type their question, they can select one of the text bubbles that best describes their problem or the subject they want more info on. You can check out our chatbot at curbsidelaundries.com It did take time to build the custom chat bot, but now it is like an employee/ sales person that fields questions day and night. You can also use a simpler premade bot if you want too.
It'd be nice if you could have more operators (users that can log in) without having to pay for each one. Also, the system wants you to have multiple operators that are live...and it is a little bit of a challenge to have the system send external e-mails. We were able to rig it so it lets us know about leads and e-mails our sales e-mail account, but I would like the system to be able to e-mail web visitors stuff and e-mail us with specific info to specific e-mail addresses, then we could use this form to e-mail us at support. It seems like limiting outbound e-mails is a way to sell more operator licenses. But I'd be willing to pay for outbound e-mails, it'd make the chat bot a lot more powerful. THis is still the best chat bot out there that I've found and the bot creation tool is incredible and easy to use.

Probably the connection to whatsapp might be the final stapple, alas not necessary at the moment since the messages go directly to the area you need to. So it's cool for now.

There is not much to dislike about Tidio honestly and have to get nitpicky here. Being able to mark customer service notes about a customer or conversation would be a beneficial feature that is not present. When you log in, it encourages you to connect your email and social media channels in order to have a centralized customer service hub. Useful for some people, but not for our company.
Customers are far more likely to use a Live Chat solution than look up our contact information and call our phone number. Tidio has improved our customer retention and response time. We are able to assist more consumers due to the ease of contact and communication, the quality of service is higher as we are able to directly link consumers to products, solutions, etc.

As a small business, the freemium model works very well, and we have definitely received some requests for calls that turned into business. It's free, and we are making money from it, that's the best of all worlds. As her business picks up, I do see that we will have to go to a paid model, and I am OK with that.
I did find the pricing models a little confusing. I've also struggled to find out what the difference is between what I get with a paid model and what I get for free. I wish there was a way to do chat to text. Chat to text meaning the customer doesn't have to stay on the webchat to get a response. They input their number and email, and the chat goes to the customers text messages. Podium does that well, but Podium is very pricey for most budgets.
