Ease of use and good tutorials. Always improving the product.
I didn't like Apprentice which was the course builder, but they've improved it to be as modifiable as their other products. Unfortunately at this time it's too much work to move my students back over.
It is i s my main website and it's so easy to drag and drop template blocks and design a conversion focused website for course sales, freebies and blog. My bounce rate has gone down.
I'm not a designer nor a coder. I like how easy Thrive Themes makes creating webpages. They have built in templates that include landing pages and thank you pages, so it's easy to get started. Everything is built around a drag and drop system. If I want to add a video I just find that block and drop it where I want it. Anyone can use Thrive Themes and be up and running in a few minutes.
It seems to be built around landing pages more than anything. I really wish there were templates for websites in different niches. I've used the templates before for landing pages, but I can't use it for my main pages.
Thrive themes helps with creating pages for lead magnets for me. I don't really do sales pages. Still, it has helped me capture many leads.
Everything from the ability to build funnels down to the ease of creating automation.
There is quite a learning curve when trying to adapt to this software.
Helps with everything from funnel design to an LMS learning management system for courses. Thrive themes provides a handful of useful and time-saving plugins.
Thrive Themes has a good solution for my marketing needs. The Thrive Leads component enables me to manage and add popup messages along with rules so that I can engage better with my audience and potential clients. The visual editor (Thrive Architect) is powerful and the whole Thrive platform gets updated quite frequently with new capabilities. The support service is very useful as well. I have been using it when needed and always got good replies in a timely fashion. In the past year, Thrive Themse have been hard at work in adding global tools that make creation of designs easier to manage properly and conveniently.
Sometimes, using Thrive feels too different than Wordpress. In many ways, using it is quite a divergence from Vinyl/classic Wordpress, which is a bit sad.
Marketing needs in my services. I use it to promote my services through pop up messages on my site, create lead generation forms, enable downloading digital content and show well designed and unique landing pages.
If you stick within the Thrive community, everything flowed well. It was a decent system.
I found a fair amount of problems integrating several 3rd party plugin. That made it very difficult to move forward with production
I actually ended up not using Thrive due to issues with code and 3rd party plugins.
Nothing, it's a scam company. It all started out well in 2018 and now they should be avoided.
I've been with Thrive since 2018 and they just completely pulled a stunt and deactivated my Thrive Architect and Thrive Theme license that I paid for in 2018 & 2020 under Lifetime Access! Such disregard of early customers and loyalty is completely absent, and now I am forced to switch over to a different theme because I REFUSE to pay this company any more money (who knows a few years from now they might pull a different stunt). Complete scam completely, save yourself the trouble and get GeneratePress instead...
I was using it to build my websites
This looks like a good way to market, with innovative plugins like a way to scrape testimonials and compare headlines, but it is so confusing to use that it's not worth the waste of time attempting to leverage the plugins. And their Thrive University is also confusing, too, especially if you are not using their themes.
I would like to start by saying that I have used MANY MANY MANY WordPress builders and plugins and this one is by far the worst and most complicated I have used. I realized this within the first 30 days of using Thrive Themes but beyond the 14 day trial period so I had to keep it and they got to keep my $300. And they were pretty nasty about the whole deal until I just said, "Whatever, maybe I will find use in it." I had originally purchased it because a marketer I was watching on YouTube was a huge enthusiast but then I realized it was because he got a huge affiliate commission for pushing it. The intention was to create a membership course using one of their plugins but you could not create sections for the course so my 100+ lesson course would have been utterly disorganized. Again, I figured this out after the 14 day trial but before 30 days and they still did not understand that their tools were useless to me. I also could not connect my Facebook page with Thrive Ovation so that made that plugin useless. I also tried out Thrive Headline Optimizer. I probably like this Thrive plugin the best, but even then, it was confusing to decide the criteria upon base my final headline decision (highest traffic vs highest engagement). Finally, I tried Thrive Leads but, again it was confusing, and I much prefer building a landing page in X Theme's than dealing with their complicated and constrictive builder.
None. Lost money. Was attempting to better market my content but this was a major fail.
I've never invested in a company that has as much dedication to an awesome user experience as Thrive Themes. What I pay to them as an annual subscription is way too low. I'm grandfathered in as I was one of their earlier adopters. They not only have a whole conversion-focused package of Wordpress plugins that make me 6 figures a year, but their support is fully trained and extremely tech-savvy, going out of their way to fix my issues. They also are constantly sending me blog posts and videos that boost my business and show me how to use their ever-evolving suite of features.
It can be a bit buggy, but it's really nothing compared to the Goliath that is Thrive Themes. All bugs are easily fixed by support in the end, and they update me on the fixes.
It builds out my whole business online. I cannot make do without it. My front-end website, funnels, pop-ups and courses are all on Thrive Themes' Thrive Suite.
After using many other themes and tools for WP this one rocks for ease and simple to learn
Nothing to dislike all the feature make this so user friendly you will not find anything to dislike
I have zero issue with using Thrive Themes
The depth and breadth of these conversion-focused plug-ins is unmatched—and at a great price. Thrive's content marketing is also helpful for running and building your business.
Certain plugins could use increased customizability - such as Thrive Apprentice and Thrive Quiz Builder. But, it's easy to look past this if you just want something that works for a low subscription rate.
Thrive Themes has allowed us to create an entire custom WordPress website quickly, beautiful landing pages, an online course, and it has given us the ability to A/B test the conversion rates of our landing pages.
All the plans come with unlimited lifetime updates. Theme prices starts at a reasonable place.
Only seems to help out those looking to market.
Consolidating our resources like email, etc has been a breeze.
Awesome optimize themes with speed optimization.
It’s at the price point where it’s not affordable for Indian users.
Thrive themes and plugins are very useful for me I will help to improved design of my Web site.
I know almost nothing about web sites designing, When i am using Thrive themes everything comes so much easier, i am able to design the site the I would want it too look. I am able to click and drag different options and I can get it too become customized. I have different websites and all of them use thrive themes, it really make the tasks a lot easier. I make templates for each of my site so i can have the same style on each of my pages
I am still a novice even though i have been using Thrive for over 3 years, and i sometimes cant figure out how to do a certain task, and since their are different versions on the Thrive sight I sometimes have trouble finding answers to my problem
The Benefit was i was able to make a web site thats looks half decent. I wanted to get a affiliated site up, and then another etc. Rather then paying a web site designer i was able to do it myself by using thrive.
The promise of templates that you can click and customise easily. They do have great options to update branding colours across the template and font styling ect however beyond that they become incredibly problematic, making them essentially too painful to use. Their support has helped me many times however waiting a week to resolve a small issue for every page I build defeats the purpose of this 'self serve' plugin suite.
They aren't GDPR compliant - the GA tracking code fires with no regard for cookie consent. This means you either have to abandon having analytics for your pages or abandon being GDPR compliant. I've had issues with Thrive Leads forms appearing and Thrive Architect has constant issues with updating and tweaking templates. Thrive Leads doesn't integrate with Hubspot so it's impossible to use and once again impossible to make it GDPR compliant. I have been unable to use any plugins as they all have blocking issues. I have wasted so much time on this - it would have been faster to learn to code and create my own webpages from scratch.
We need the flexibility to build landing pages and capture leads. Also to build and edit the design of general web pages without the need of a developer. I haven't realised any of these benefits because the plugins are constantly presenting blocking issues. Absolutely terrible products.
