Teamwork Projects is a well-designed piece of software. The user interface is attractive for both the web application and the mobile app. The structure of the app is great for our project management needs (project>milestones>task list>task>sub-task At first, I thought the daily project email would be annoying, but actually it is really well designed and useful for me. I like the integrated help desk a lot. I really love that Teamwork.com has such responsive and helpful customer support. The chat app is really useful and our team is using it. I like forwarding emails to our projects, files, or messages. I really like the search bar to quickly find a project, task, message, file, user, or customer. What else do I like? I like the teamwork.com knowledge base. And finally... I like that the pricing is extremely affordable, with unlimited users.
There is not a lot to dislike about Teamwork.com Overall, I really love pretty much everything, but there are just a few things that I would like improved. Firstly, I wish the integration with Outlook was better. Right now, it is with iCal, but I wasn't satisfied with an iCal feed, so I am not using it. Secondly, I feel that the Calendar feature in Teamwork.com could use a bit of improvement. I think it could be better integrated with the task list and dashboard. Also, I wish it would be possible to have option for each event in calendar to also be created simultaneously as a task, because a calendar event is missing a lot of the functionality that tasks have. Thirdly, I can't put my finger on it, but something about the dashboard is not very useful for me. Maybe I wish it were more similar to the tasks page in Outlook and I also wish that the tasks would not always be grouped by project. Also, the ability to group by priority is missing in dashboard (but is available on the "Everything" page). Lastly, this is a great application, but there are some features that it doesn't have (like issue tracking, automatic alerts, etc.) For us, these features are not really needed so much. Notifications can be setup (like specific time before due date, etc.), but not alerts.
I have seen that the visibility of what people are working on is a lot better. I am also able to keep track of everything. We are definitely communicating better and collaborating better since we began using Teamwork.com
Teamwork is a web-based project management system. This website allows you to manage, schedule, arrange, rearrange and rearrange different projects. We mainly talk about platform, solution, pricing, resources, and complaints. The platform is user-friendly, accessible, and works smoothly. They provide a wide variety of solutions and improve by customer feedback. Their pricing for their tools is affordable.
It helps to solve many problems, but their desk system is slow compared to others. Also, opening a new page time, time means a waste of money. And Clients value time, their chat time that is their video call legging frequently.
this company provide the solution for project management, it would be better if they would increase the employees for clearing all the doubts by the client, also they have provided how this video of teamwork working while client wait for their problems to be solves. It provides solutions for managing projects. nowadays it's very helpful, with this we can use in this company for managing project. It removes the redundant project work which is very helpful
I have tried many project systems, and still keep an eye out on the different options available. I love that it does almost everything we need, intergrates well with most things using Zapier, and has a great pricing structure. Cost effective and well supported.
I wish the billing and expenses section was more intergrated with my accounting system. Id like to be able to run a report on expenses across all projects for a month, and include the option to run a timelog report with tags on certain projects, not just specific tasks or time logs. Also need Video and screen sharing in chat to work with the team more effectively - have to use other programs! Also a shared online HTML page to share info with customers who do not need to be logged in. Eg (Like samepage.io)
I use it to manage contractors, projects, internal tasks and have it integrated well with Hubspot CRM
The interface is intuitive and simple. The most recent revision to the UX made great improvements in the interface. It seems as if Teamwork really does listen to the needs of its users.
No downsides, really. We wish our clients were more interested and engaged in using the platform with us, but they essentially hire US to worry about managing the projects - so they don't have to see notices in their inboxes...
Teamwork combines powerful project management tools for our 9-person team AND our clients at an affordable fee, while also allowing us to efficiently track billable time, expenses and invoicing without the need for a separate platform.
The Overview tab is great for clients to see what they're getting for their money at a glance. They can see daily activity. Nice! The Gannt charting is beautifully executed. Timers are well integrated. Pretty simple. I love that you can communicate around any 'thing' you want. Tasks, milestones, documents, etc. Comms go into email, so you can capture all threads in the context of the 'thing' your discussin. People can respond via email. So clients don't even need to login. The pricing plan works very well for large teams of adhoc part timer workers. Priced per project. Night and day comparison with many other providers that price by the number of team members.
Missing the ability to add $ hourly rates and to do any kind of budgeting. Missing capacity planning features entirely.
I run a consultancy. We do Strategy, PR and Bus Dev for Internet dating companies. Need to coordinate numerous part-time workers across many time zones, and show clients what they're getting for their money. Everyone is coordinated and kept informed.
The best feature is the weekly management tab of projects. It was really helpful for the kind of work we do.
Only the costing part. I am happy with the features, but pricing is a bit on the higher side. Looking forward to buy paid version soon.
Project management is one of the toughest things. It increases efficiency and one is able to track everything moreover, the best UI of all the Project management software that I have used.
At Global PMI Partners (www.GPMIP.com), we have configured TeamWork to manage M&A integrations. The combination of a complete and flexible tool with reasonable pricing is a winning proposition for us. We have also built M&A carve-outs and trainings in the tools. We have implemented it on 100+ projects.
The mobile app is there, but I'm not really using it. It's a totally different interface and I can't find my way there. There is a very limited feature for adding expenses. It would be great if the tool would allow to upload expense notes.
At Global PMI Partners, we primarily use TeamWork for M&A integrations and M&A carve-outs, as well as for trainings on these subjects. Benefits include: detailed user management, easy task management, risk assessments, time tracking and invoicing, dashboard functionality and easy adoptions. We have been using TeamWork since 2013.
Ability to customize each project however you'd like, unlimited client seats available (ie. invite unlimited users from each client), and good time tracking functionality. You get a ton of functionality and value for your money as compared to similar PM software.
Occasionally (maybe 1-2x per quarter), the software will have a major bug/issue that limits the use of certain functionality or sometimes even the entire platform. Reporting is very limited so would like to see a bit more there.
We primarily use Teamwork to manage client engagements (action plans, task management and tracking, collaboration, dependencies, etc) and track our time (in the web app or via extension, individual time tracking across our team, aggregated time tracking at the project or client level, and specific time-based project budgets).
