Needs a bit more flexibility for users to customize the timing of multi-step email campaigns.
Marketing effectiveness is the main objective. Respona enables us to automate the discipline and messaging excellence that are sometimes negatively impacted by humans doing manual work.
This tool is doing a fantastic job at finding the right prospects during outreach for any LB campaign that saved us $$$, time, and an improved conversion rate. Their team genuinely cares about their customers and makes every possible effort to enhance this tool. It has become our go-to tool to build meaningful yet long-lasting relationships with people in our niche.
None that I can think of- This tool has every possible feature for link builders to try
It has sped up the process of our link building and a definite improvement in the conversion rate. It has even reduced our marketing cost up to 50% which was our main concern while using pitch box. Now the team gets enough time to focus on other technical aspects.
I like the pitch reviewer feature that gives you feedback on the effectiveness of your pitch.
I wish the campaign process wasn't required to source contacts.

Respona allows us to do quality outreach in high volume be it link building for SEO, looking for podcast opportunities, or otherwise. It streamlines the outreach process; Automates it while still allowing for personalization. It also gives a lot of insights into how your outreach campaigns are performing so that you can see where to improve.
I haven't found anything that I dislike.
We are saving a lot of time and effort while still keeping up the quality. I always hated poor-quality, templatized outreach emails but never had the time and resources to do a high volume of messages that are also quality. In the past, we missed out on a lot of opportunities because we didn't want to settle for poor quality in exchange for scalability. With Respona, we don't have to.
I have had so much help from the team at Respona. They really took the time to walk me through things and answer my questions. For someone new to outreach, it has been very helpful in understanding strategies that work and doesn't work. Not to mention that on my first campaign, I received a backlink from a high DA website.
It's a little bit of a learning curve to learn how to use the tool, but the team will help you with whatever questions you might have.

Respona has helped us automate much of our outreach, especially on link-building. Identifying opportunities, finding the right person to contact and sending the emails that will get responses. It has allowed us to scale our efforts and reduce the work needed for high-quality link-building. We don't like doing mass low-quality outreach, and really qualititive SEO work and reaching out for partnerships takes a lot of time. Using Respona, the most important factor is time saved while keeping high quality personalized messages and follow ups. It still needs time to go through the process, but it cuts it down almost at half. It was also very easy to train a junior member of our team to use Respona, who was not experienced in outreaching, and she was able to use it with very little assistance in a little over a week, multiplying the value we get from there!
There are still a few refinements to be made and improvements in the discovery process (finding relevant opportunities automatically), the opportunities still need filtering. But we are using Respona for almost a year and the progress the team has made is incredible, and trust this will be even better soon.
It makes the process of outreaching fast and easy. No need to look into several sources to find the right content and person to reach out. It's all there easy and at hand. It saves incredible amounts of time, and a junior marketer can do the work of a senior outreacher with Respona.
The product solves a real need for me -- find and connect with opportunities for high quality backlinks. Beyond that, the customer support is over-the-top great! I continue to be impressed with how well they listen to customer feedback, mine in particular. Many of the issues and improvements I've personally suggested have been implemented or are in process of being implemented. This is such a good feeling as a customer -- to be heard.
I's a newer product so there are some usability issues, periodic bugs and the interface can be confusing at first.
Need for me was to scale my content marketing outreach. I've gotten this 10-fold, but also learned a lot from their team about best practices. Our domain rating has grown dramatically during the 6 months using Respona.
Respona is intuitive and easy to use. I like I can set everything based on my preference and I appreciate I can filter my searches based on domain authority. Also communication with guys from Respona is amazing. Nice support and there are video tutorials that are also helpful at the beginning of using this tool.
There is nothing I could complain about at the moment. What I am looking forward to see are upcoming integrations.

Respona has been awesome at removing the headache out of PR work. It basically does the hard work for you. You just have to pick the journalists you want to target and the outreach is taken care of on auto-pilot. It’s a huge time-saver and allows you to focus on the truly important hard work - building the relationship with the journalists

Respona is the one-stop shop for automating PR. It solves exactly that problem, one that is very time-consuming ordinarily.
Respona has really been created with a view to build relationships and find connections where you are supporting mutual relevance. So many platforms like a Pitchbox treat outreach as a simple numbers game, which it can be at times but I find the real gold is connecting two organizations or people where it makes sense. Ultimately that's what we are all looking for to try and grow our work and certainly what Google responds to the best.
Dislike is not the right word. I'd like to see all the blogs and knowledge base in one central location and at the top of my wish list would be a Respona University to help us onboard new team members and bring them up to speed on Respona best practices for superior results.
Creating an automated process for finding fresh opportunities that can be reviewed by a team member for relevance. The benefit is getting that email tell you that you have new opportunities fresh out of the oven waiting for you.
Respona is an incredibly helpful tool for anyone looking to run PR and/or link building campaigns. It saves me hours of time per week by replacing all of the manual work I used to do when it comes to not only finding target/relevant sites but also by automating the process of finding accurate and relevant contact information. If you are using Respona with proper personalization in your campaigns, you will eventually end up pausing your campaigns because the results will be epic!

Having canned responses would be nice. It's not really a big deal since we already have our canned responses saved in a separate file, but it would save us the copy & paste if you could have them right there, in Respona.

The user-friendly dashboard and excellent overview functionality of Respona has been a standout feature for our team! Integrations with SEO tools are also great and help pull relevant results for our outreach campaigns, weeding out lower-quality opportunities, allowing us to only focus on the "money" prospects.
Lack of a true CRM. Right now, Respona has a relationships tab that heeps track of all your contacts, their companies, and your conversations, but it's not really a CRM. It's kind of like it, but not quite there.

It would be nice if the default backlink data was coming from Ahrefs. Right now, it's from Moz, and you can only use Ahrefs if you already have an Ahrefs account and connect it to Respna. In my experience, Moz backlink data isn't the best, but at least it's free for all Respona users.
Respona resolves the often chaotic and fragmented nature of link-building by providing a cohesive and user-friendly platform to manage all aspects of email outreach. It has cleared our desk from the multiple tools we previously required and the endless searches for viable link prospects, streamlining our workflow immensely.
It's handy to have everything in one platform as opposed to multiple different tools. The prospecting search engine, the contact finder, the shared inbox, the campaign analyitcs - I can't even describe how cumbersome our previous approach felt in comparison to Respona. It's like switching to a ferrari after riding a horse for 20 years. Yes, it did the job, but now it's so much faster.
My main dislike is the pricing; as a start-up, the Standard plan isn't really worth it on its own - either get the Unlimited, or pay for extra sender emails and credits.
Having everything in one place saves us valuable time and allows us to achieve our targets more efficiently.
Respona's real-time email verification system eliminates a lot of guesswork, and the automatic contact searches save me tons of time. All I have to do is check the results, where as previously i would have to do all of the prospecting myself. The same applies to finding link opportunities - the content search engine is fully automated as well. Again, I just have to check the results - and I can run countless queries at the sametime. I also like the campaign templates - they automatically set advanced search operators to find the exact opportunities I'm looking for.
I wish there was a way to view all opportunities in a campaign in a single list. Scrolling from left to right isn't the best, but it works.
Just how much time outreach used to take and manage.
I'm fond of Respona's shared workspace feature - it's fantastic for collective brainstorming, especially when you're part of a large team like me. With everyone having access to the same campaigns, insights, templates, contacts, and the unsubscribe list, it's really easy to see what's going on. Also, for example, I can start a campaign, launch a few opportunities, and my colleagues can pick up where I left of with no hassle - very handy. In the same way, when I'm not around, someone else can answer my leads (we're all working on link building anyway), boosting our efficiency.
However, I feel there's scope for improvement in the SEO metrics. A more in-depth and detailed report would be nice. Right now, you have your basic domain authority, traffic, and spam score (which is enough for link building), but a little bit more depth would be appreciated.
