It's a very simple platform to use and it makes sure your customers feel connected and heard 24/7. You can send personalized promotions by text and also take payment. It's a life savior.
The mobile version of the app could be better but I'm sure their IT team is aware and we'll get an updated version soon. It's small updates that could make their service perfect.

The automation tools and the ease of contacting our customers directly. The Podium platform allows us to contact and chat with customers in real-time who are visiting one of our websites; this tool has allowed us to increase the number of potential customers we have captured significantly. Thanks to the Podium platform, we have a much more professional way of communicating with our customers since, through the medium, we manage to maintain an open chat at any time that any customer wants to expose any inconvenience or requirement, and it acts immediately to the solution, this avoids that customers have to go through a hard time of being in a call waiting to be attended and certainly is not necessary so many staff for this management that sometimes ends up being practically automatic.
I consider that Podium has a pretty solid desktop version; however, they also offer a mobile version that, on several occasions, we tried to implement, and honestly, I could say that the platform does not serve the mobile level; it is prolonged which ends up making the experience of its use is very tedious and do not want to carry out.
Without a doubt, the Podium platform has brought us great benefits, such as optimizing communication with customers through this platform and eliminating phone calls or emails every time we wanted to communicate with the customer. We found a considerable time saving since the fact that customers can respond to any information we need through text messages through the platform makes the experience of project management much more dynamic and faster. Thanks to Podium, we can quickly identify when a client has excellent potential.
Podium is very easy to use and the customer support team is great.
They had a rough patch a while back when they changed their leadership team but it looks like they have gotten things on track.

Splendid integration into our jewelry software of the edge. Keeps all conversations with customers very organized and keeps google reviews ever coming non stop! The payment solution is a great way to fulfill online orders through text pay and it's all integrated into an amicable app that is very easy to use with reminders when people have been left unanswered!
The only downside of the podium app is the price, it did take us some time to accept their monthly cost, but once we did, we have not regretted our decision. We are delighted that they are constantly innovating and providing more features to make their app worthy of the higher costs.
Google reviews for a business today are critical. Unfortunately, not all customers who have a positive experience with our business leave reviews; people walk out the door and move on. Podium is great with customer follow-ups for reviews, they conveniently text the customer at the end of all my transactions to remind them to leave reviews. Within a few months of being a podium user, we now have over 300 reviews!

There is nothing to disklike about Podium, they are innovative, and anything they lack in gives them a Quarter they already have it in the works rolling out after months of beta testing and working out the kinks.
We have completely done away with using a collection agency in order to maintain collections, converting all our collections to text reminders, and collection templates. Saving the company not only the fees but it's become more effective in collecting balances due than the collection agency every was able to do for us.
Able to use on the spot as long as you have service/wifi, which helps with our ratings.
It doesn’t seem to have an auto send feature, so if no service/WiFi is available it doesn’t send as soon as you’re in range again.
Customers are able to review me on the spot or at their convenience, which helps the company with great reviews!

Podium makes it really easy to get customers to do reviews for your services. The program is great and when it is working properly, it’s a no brainer. There were more issues with reliability in the past, but they seem to have it figured out much better now and I've had great success using their software.
There seems to be issues on the back end of Podium that make it very frustrating as a technician. I have SEVERAL instances where my customer gets the review link and writes the review right there in front of me, and it never updates in Podium saying I got the review. This has happened several times and for a technician who is striving to earn rewards with this program, it’s very discouraging to know you are getting reviews and not getting credit for them. *Update* This issue seems to have been resolved and has been working properly for a while now. Keep up the good work!
This solves the problem of where and how the customer can review your company. You can follow up easily with the ability to use templates for typical situations, or customize it for the individual situation.
Our reviews have grown immensely and they are a wonderful team to work with.
I do not like that we have to have 2 separate phone numbers for our 2 locations. It would be nice if we could have everything under one number.
Communicating with our customers has been so much easier! They love that we text too.
When we text customers using Podium, we get almost immediate responses back. So many people filter their phone calls that most of phone calls to customers go to their voicemail and then we wait hours or days for replies. Using Podium to text customers generally gets us a reply within minutes.
Not so much a dislike as something on the learning curve. Our POS system initially generated a text to the customers as soon as a transaction was completed on their account. Sometimes we will finish a complicated transaction a day or two later and a text would go out that would cause confusion. We set up a "Create Invoice - No Text" choice. A very flexible system!
Part of our business is instrument repair. We used to play telephone tag with customers calling them with estimates and waiting for replies to go ahead - sometimes it would take days to hear back from customers. The text function in Podium gets us almost immediate replies now, and that speeds up our workflow in the shop.
