That up to 2,000 contacts you can email for free; the A/B campaign test options; the integrations
The 2,000 limit: I would like that faithful customers could get an extension to 2,500 or 3,000 contacts
Communicating with my audience about news and events
You can use mail chimp to shoot a mail instantly to a large number of crowd with just a click, you don't need to organize your mail and shoot one by one. Just categorize your Niche and just one click will make your work.
The user interface is little bit confusing for a new member who doesn't use it earlier. I had used Mailchimp for my personal use as well. Mailchips effectively helps to get your mail delivered to the end user as they take care of your reputation as senders reputation and spam laws.
Mailchimp hides its advance features once your are new to the platform like campaign being grouped with automations and landing pages. It has it own language sometimes confusing and for a new user it lil bit irritating.
If you are not part of a large marketing firm, MailChimp is the way to go! Between the "freemium" based pricing and the drag/drop templates, it is the way to go. MailChimp is constantly updating features and the support is next to none. Every new solution that is released is a different way to grow your business. My favorite part of using MailChimp is that everything is WYSIWYG. You can start a template, stop to work on a completely different project, and then come back without ever skipping a beat.
MailChimp does not provide many resources for training/instruction. There are tons of great online tutorials, but none really supported through MailChimp. The monthly fee is based on your number of email addresses. If you have a ton of addresses/subscribers, this might not be the best option. However, when I was starting out this was the best platform for use. Even with more subscribers, it is worth it to me to continue using with the simplicity factor.
Thanks to MailChimp, I can reach my customers in an affordable manner! I continually see a click thru rate of over 30% and the sales to back that up. This has provided me a platform to relate to new customers, returning customers, and prospective clients. Having a solution that allows me step back from sending one-by-one emails has not only saved me time but directly increased the profits in my business.
I use MailChimp to send newsletter to all my data base, the free package is for 2000 contacts.
Could be more contact in the free version maybe 5000. But 2000 its fine.
Kept the contact with customers and send last promotion.
The templates are the best! If you can imagine something, it can be built. There are also a ton of templates that third parties sell that look awesome, so your newsletters are going to look great. The sending features and lists aren't bad either.
So.... integrations are weak. If you have a database or CRM, it's a constantly hassle to keep your mailchimp email lists and your database synced. It's ultimately why we are slowly leaving mailchimp. The aesthetics are hard to beat though.
Mailchimp integrated with wufoo forms so it was easy to get up and running. It's customizable so everything we do is on-brand. You can also limit access or require approval so if you've got someone on staff that wants to do it themselves but spelling isn't their forte, it's a great solution.
Mailchimp offers incredibly flexible packages that make it a no-brainer for businesses of all sizes. Even their free platform offers awesome tools. The emails look professional and seamlessly integrate with the brand you are writing for.
The lists can get a bit clunky, and it doesn't integrate with a CRM for more robust sales and marketing needs. When you are customizing your templates, it can get tricky - sometimes things don't end up where you thought you placed them. But these are minor aspects for a lot of companies.
Email marketing and digital marketing is the way of the world. Being able to send newsletters that are beautiful, informative, and trackable is so important. And Mailchimp does a great job of that!
Mailchimp can boast not only a great set of tools, but also is very well designed. There's no problem in finding desired options, segmentation works great, the e-mail builder is easy to use.
While the functionality of Mailchimp is superb, I miss a draft function. I wish I could prepare an email with title without choosing the audience and creating a campaign.
Mailchimp lets us connect with thousands of followers in easy way. Thanks to this tool we are able to boost traffic on our site with almost no extra cost.
Effective marketing application I have ever used. I can easily integrate with other applications of my concern with huge ease. Moving ahead I can make certain effective reports on it and also I can manage all my subscribers. Last but not the least now I can manage all my e-mail record without getting into trouble of losing them.
Thinking about the dislike, I would say it has become a more powerful product. I have no issue about the performance and about any single service of Mailchimp. It is working great.
It is full of benefits. Moreover, to initiate my marketing procedures I can easily make effective reports on the go. Also, another plus point that I found in it its interface that is so understandable and anybody can learn so easily. Last but not the least to increase my sales outcome to a certain level easily creates different campaigns.
It's very useful if you are a small business because it allows you to grow and just pay when you are getting success. It's a great tool to start manage your users and customers. Mailchimp is always making improvements into its platform and offering new solutions to allow a business to grow. Mailchimp is still leading the email marketing category.
If you are new with technology, I think you may need some time to understand the platform and get the best results. You can always find tutorials on the internet. The implementation of the software if you are the consumer could be very complicated, you can ask to an agency or a friend who has experience doing this.
Email marketing campaigns also work like CRM to have all your contacts in order, this is great because new users find both in the same tools. I believe that use Mailchimp on your website has great benefits. My clients love the interface which is very friendly and easy to use.
Mailchimp does all the dirty work for you, from set up, to importing contacts to sending out the eblasts. They even have an opt out feature so you don't send out emails to folks who unsubscribed. I also use the opens and clicks for lead generation for the sales team.
There is not a lot to dislike, but probably the only thing I would say I find objectionable is the monthly fee goes up with the amount of subscribers. It's par for the course, but other than that, Mailchimp is incredible.
Finding new leads. Seeing who is clicking on what so we can perform other market efforts. Mailchimp has been one of the marketing departments most valuable tools in the past year for generating leads for sales and outside sales teams.
Feature rich, simple to use. From the start I was able to just log in, read my screen and carry out my business efficiently. I love love LOVE Mailchimp! Not just the product, but the team, too. I had to connect one time and had the most amazing experience with them. They are a genuinely caring team of people determined to make our marketing needs not just met, but exceeded. Highly recommend.
Nothing honestly comes to mind. It's a great software.
I needed to connect with large volumes of my customers and track how receptive they were and I was able to do that.
One of the best features is having the ability to design templates and get them ready to fire off whenever you have a specific push campaign. Another great feature is being able to automate emails and get them lined up for new subscribers.
If I had to complain I would say the cost, but in reality that is not even an issue.
Getting more sales. We use it to push item sales and traffic to our web site to increase our ranking.
Mail chimp provides unlimyited quality resources for all users. Very helpful tech.
Emails are made to contain big yellow Google warnings which scare readers away.
Reaching my groups
It is so easy to either edit a template Mailchimp already has or to create your own template and use it to send awesome newsletters.
It is not that user-friendly when adding or deleting users from an audience.
Newsletters are not a pain anymore. Also, the stats really help improve the content we send.
Template creation is easy and any beginners can create a great template using drag & drop features. A segment of data using tags and groups is making our work easy.
not much customization in wordpress plugin
Creating templates we no need to depend on designers. You create your own template. Segment the data with a single audience bucket
Understanding the data behind email communications. When is best to contact, what type of content get the best results, which products work for the various audiences.
Certain design aspects but not major flaws. Would like to be more creative with the use of fonts, spacing, use of images etc. It's very blocky and not fluid.
Finding solutions to contacting multiple audiences across a range of products to sell in the most creative and effective way whilst staying on brand.
Integration with CRM software like Exact Online gives businesses powerful tools to work with. The UI is great and importing/exporting contacts, creatings lists is easy. Customising emails offers most functionality you would need.
I found sometimes that formatting my emails using the inbuilt tools could be difficult and a little time consuming. In addition I found that the official Mailchimp guides online for implementing / exploring different functions could be poor or too basic. I often turned to articles or youtube instead.
In my last job I used mailchimp to increase engagement with a company newsletter I published. I was very happy to be able to see detailed statistics about the emails I sent out. Creating lists to filter and include/exclude contacts was seamless.
So easy to use and to import images from other design programs. Also very easy to upload contacts at any volume.
I wish you could link sections of images.
Being able to contact an entire audience at once!
What I like best about mailchimp is the ease with which you can generate an email template to send to your contacts. Also sending campaigns is very easy. The tools that mailchimp offers are really useful. Another thing you have that I like very much is your interface. It's pretty fluid, simple and you get things done easily. Not to mention the direct connection it has with mandrill, which is very useful when you have to send personalized transactional emails.
Hasta el momento, mailchimp ha cumplido todas mis espectativas de uso. Lo que si pudieran mejorar, es que el footer y el header sean mas amigables a la hora de configurarlos con cierto tamaño
The use I am giving to mailchimp, is to send informative mails of my clients. Since it delivers the emails almost immediately. This is useful when, for example, you need to send an urgent communication and with the speed that this company offers, my problems are solved
