I like that you can save templates and reusable blocks easily. Shortens the process and is useful for AB testing.
Seems like the mobile builder design of what you see is about 2-3 pixels off center. Also to be honest there are times I'd prefer it to be a little more like squarespace and you drop an image in and it auto formats it to the grid.
Sales enablement landing pages. Benefits have been quick builds with modern elements lol
The whole Instapae interface is very intuitive and the A/B testing opportunities in the Experiment section help us a lot to keep optimizing our pages for conversions. We're also experimenting with indexing some of the pages and actually, we've seen some good SEO results from those, too. So Instapage is not only a great page for PPC page testing but can also help boost your SEO. For us, it is also very important that any software or tool we use is compatible with Marketo because all of our lead data has to automatically be stored in there to complement our marketing efforts. I also want to point out the great customer support - every time I have a question, the support team, and our personal account representative get back within a day.
I think it can be a little bit annoying that you cannot make any changes on landing pages with experiments running on them. But technically, it makes sense. So that is nothing that I'd really truly complain about. It's just that if you'd ask me what I wished for: It'd be to be able to still make small changes without having to end running experiments. Another thing is that I have sometimes issues embedding HTML snippets. Then we need to put in some developer hours. But that is also fixable and not a big thing.
We are mainly using Instapage for creating conversion-optimized landing pages for social ads and Google Ads. We want to know what improves the conversion rate of our pages, which messaging works best, which imagery we should use, etc. When creating and updating our landing pages on our actual website, we often reuse blocks we have already created and tested in Instapage first. This helps us to not only increase the conversion rate of our PPC pages but also to increase the conversion rate of demo pages on our website - since we have already tested what works. For our website developers, it is easy to recreate the Instapage blocks we need. So the need for a very specific design briefing and mockup is not there anymore. Right now, we're also testing some SEO projects there because we were wondering which languages should get their own blog. So first, we're testing this on Instapage using indexed pages.
The tool: We needed a tool that would fit the agility that we needed to deploy marketing campaigns with simple yet aligned content to what we were saying on our online ads. Ease of use, simplicity of page building and deployment. No complications in onboarding any third-party agency partner and no risks associated with it. By using the subdomain, we are able to very easily deploy the tool without interfering with the main domain and CMS structure. The team: Instapage has an excellent team when it comes to supporting us and agility of response. They provided custom training, prepared videos and were extremely accomodating to our needs. We currently have not used further analytics customization, A/B testing or anything further in terms of capabilities.
While the Lead Generation tools are simple to use and integrate, some customization in GDPR zones and tech infrastructure can make it slightly tricky to execute this type of activity in Europe. The freedom of using the tool does mean you have to be very prescriptive with designers as they will have the ability to do anything with the CMS elements which might not yield the best CRO execution.
We needed a solution that was independent of the corporate CMS. The main benefit was mobile-first design, codeless work in simple content-led pages and ease of collaboration with various agencies.
The ease of use to build new pages allows us to turn new pages around incredibly quick.
Having to re-create the mobile experience can be cumbersome. I wish there was a way for them to better pre-populate the mobile.
Our lead time for new pages was over a month or two because of how many priorities our in-house web development team has on their plate. Instapage allows us to create new pages for lead generation on our own.
I have used many landing pages software before but Instapage has been the best and easiest one to use. It has great templates to help getting started on a landing page and the drag and stop functionality are very good. You can also easily optimised the page for mobile which is very handy. If you want to get started in creating some landing pages for your website I would highly recommend Instapage that will make it very easy for you to create.
If I had to pick something would be the price. It is quite a pricy tool but if you had many clients definitely worths it.
Creating some landing page for multiple clients.
I've been an Instapage user for over 4 years now. As much as I love everything that is possible with custom build CMS landing pages, as a digital marketing consultant that services small to medium businesses, there are some advantages to using Instapage that can't be beat. 1. This is one that will apply not only to small businesses without dev staff, but also larger businesses with overstretched dev staff - you can quickly create landing pages without a developer. The platform is very easy to use. While it helps to have a good eye in terms of design, the barrier to entry to getting started is extremely low. This means your junior/mid level staff can be roped in quite quickly to assist, whatever their background, and if the client wants to take the pages over in future, they can do so and do their own updates with ease. 2. Compared to Unbounce, I like that you can view mobile vs desktop performance in the variant tests. This has helped me spot occasions when desktop works well but mobile doesn't. 3. Even when building pages for CMS development, I sometimes build my own pages in Instapage to send to designers or devs as an interactive starting point reference. 4. The integrations are dead simple and the hidden fields option is a big plus. As much as I think to myself from time to time about saving the subscription fees and going back to building CMS pages only, I think of the time saved, which is why we've stuck with Instapage this long.
I wish it had the "certainty" metric that Unbounce has. It could do with an indicator that helps you to assess whether your data sample size is big enough. Also, unless you have a lot of SME clients, the costs - especially if you're earning a weaker currency than US dollars - can be a bit steep when starting out. I wish there was just one pricing level lower for startups. As with every landing page builder I've tried, the mobile version generator can give you some crazy results - I wish this could work just a little smarter. Mobile versions always need a lot of work to get them to look right.
Bottlenecks with development teams in larger companies. Lack of skills available in more junior SME teams and with more junior SME staff. Inability to use Adobe Creative Suite to quickly drag out some basic designs. Using Instapage has allowed us to create beautiful landing pages quickly, without having to rely on dev staff. AB tests can also be done really quickly - setting this up takes longer on Wordpress.
After trying out several landing page builders, Instapage continues to stand in a class of its own from ease of use in building pages, analytics and testing. It's generally lag-free and is intuitive enough for beginners and non-technical folks to ramp up quickly, while offering customization for those who want it. I particularly like the rapid A/B testing available that makes it so easy to do quick, simple marketing tests and requires very little back and forth between tech, design, and marketing. It's well designed for lead-gen ad campaigns and integrates well with Facebook and Google.
There are a few cons/areas for improvement that stand out: 1) The pricing has gotten pretty insane and unfortunately is pushing the realm of "for enterprise only." 2) While mobile-friendly, Instapage still shines best on desktop instances. Would love to see additional features that enable building mobile-first experiences (e.g., hamburger bar for navigation, templates that optimize for mobile). 3) Ability to upload custom fonts.
As far as marketing tools go, Instapage is one I always recommend brands have in their arsenal. Landing pages can be invaluable in spinning up quick instances/tests before investing in resources and time to build out full-on web experiences. My biggest painpoint with Instapage is customizing it to best fit mobile
Instapage is a great tool to quickly create landingpages. I have been working with it for the past 3 years and changed on how I approach testing new product ideas. The editor is easy to understand for beginners, but powerful enough to create landingpages that really stand out. I also like the integration with zapier that opens up great possibilities for automating how you deal with new leads. Further, thanks to the tagmanager support it is really easy to set up tracking and the addition of the GDPR-Cookie Policy made life much easier for companies in the European Union. What I also really like is the possibility to personalize the content based on URL Parameters. It would be great to also have this option for images to make it even more personalized. Support at Instapage is actually great!
To be honest, I used to love instapage and recommended it to every client I worked with and every startup I knew. However in the recent half a year it feels like they went into the wrong direction: - the pricing is becoming a bit crazy. - this has probably to do with the constant addition of new features that in my honest opnion are not so valuable. I would be happy to have the "old" instapage, just a simple A/B testing landingpage tool with Zapier integration for a decent price. (also because I don't profit from all the cool new stuff, it only starts at higher pricing tiers, for the average user it just became clunky) - By adding all the new features the editor got really slow and buggy, some times saving and updating your landing page becomes a half-day job when it used to be a 2 minute task. don't get me wrong I really, really like instapage and I am using it almost every day, I just think they are heading in a wrong direction.
- Creating quick A/B testing landingpages for my own projects and for clients. - We use it to test business ideas, product features and for big lead generation ad campaigns. - By connecting it with Zapier, we managed to create complex user journeys to increase our conversion rates.
The drag and drop interface allows landing pages for campaigns to built quickly and with limited technical knowledge. I'd found that developing pages manually for campaigns was slow, and changing elements without a CMS meant that we could not launch anything in a timely manner. Instapage fixes that, and throws in a/b and some testing to ensure you can impoverish conversion of any new activity.
We tend to use tracking in Google analytics, rather than using the built in analytics. However this does ensure that any user can quickly see how many visits or responses a page has received.
Bottlenecks from manually building campaign landing pages, as well as launching a/b split tests from search adverts. We also build lead generation pages with no technical setup needed.
Instapage is a very balanced tool for Landing creation. Features that I like the most is the easiness for anyone to create a full landing page, in general, the interface and UX are very friendly so anyone with no technical skills can build an entire website, this is useful because you save programmers for complex stuff. Nowadays Instapage has built nice features as global blocks for headers and footers that save you a ton of time, the other big feature is that with a regular subscription you can add tons of pages and domains.
Even though Instapage has improved a lot its User Interface and is lovely, I have to say that still, the response of the entire site is super slow. I mean you have to wait a lot when navigating between landing page listing to preview to the editor. a second issue and is somehow related is that you don't really know when the instapage has logged out you, basically the typical 90s issue that you keep working save your progress or update your progress and suddenly you realize Instapage logged you out like 30 minutes before and you have to redo your work.
Basically, we do entire websites for our products that in most of cases users only check information on the website if they want to use our products they have to download an app. As mentioned before you can focus in developing your product not in developing a website. Other useful features are the posibility of doing A/B testing, it has nice integrations with google analytics, google ads, facebook manager and last but not least it is possible to put HTML which is useful for deep integrations with jotform, zapier, etc.
The platform is intuitive and easy to use, but also advanced enough that your designs aren't too limited. The integrations are very strong and it is super easily inserted into our marketing stack - this is why we use Instapage. The AdMap provides great insight into how you can increase conversions post-click by increasing search relevancy on Google. I look forward to a similar feature being announced for Facebook. The pre-created templates are great for inspiration and if you needed to, you could use them to pump out a landing page in probably about 30 minutes.
I've used enterprise features with a client in the past, and certain features are incredibly useful, but the price of enterprise is a bit too high to justify unless you're a SAAS company or building 5+ pages per day for clients. The AdMap feature becomes instantly more valuable if you do have an enterprise license. I wish global blocks were available at a mid-level tier (agency tier?). Lastly, the builder is good for building a suite of landing pages, but you're likely not going to create a mind-blowing design on Instapage without knowledge of CSS - but that is a pro/con of platform that you can build LPs at scale. Forms on instapage are great and easy to use/create, but they could be improved by adding phone number fields (for mobile) and long-text fields get shrunk a ton on the mobile version - it's unclear if there's a way to fix that.
Insertion into our marketing stack - Instapage integrates really well Feedback with our clients - the preview/comment tool is excellent Speed of creating landing pages - probably cuts dev time down by 50-80% Sub-accounts makes it an easy process to onboard a new client and get LP design rolling
What I enjoy most about Instapage is that it is a very easy to use platform, which has a modern user interface, it is very easy to navigate and highly intuitive, thanks to this incredible tool we have the possibility to create, customize and optimize post-click experiences to scale safely, easily and quickly and without the need to be an expert or a high-level developer, it is also worth noting that Instapage is a versatile tool which has a large number of tools and functionalities which give us the possibility to optimize our website for search engines, test pages using a / B testing tools and collect user data through forms, thus making it much more efficient and creating landing pages for the highest quality.
I do not have any type of complaints about this tool, thanks to Instanpage we can create a landing page safely, effectively, easily and quickly, in addition this tool puts at our fingertips a large set of predesigned tools, features and templates that make us life much easier, On the other hand it is worth noting that this tool has a collaborative work function which allows us to work together with multiple users allowing them to view, edit and comment on landing pages and campaigns before they are published.
Instapage has a modern user interface which is very easy to navigate and highly intuitive, this gives users of all levels the ability to create, customize and optimize post-click experiences to scale safely, easily and fast, also thanks to its wide range of tools and functionalities we have the possibility to optimize our website for search engines, test pages using a / B testing tools and collect user data through forms, thus achieving a lot More efficient and create landing pages of the highest quality, Instanpage is a versatile and very flexible tool since it can be effectively integrated with other applications, whether they are advertising, analytics, CRM tools or email marketing tools, webinars or chat.
Instapage is very userful for A/B tests and create very easily multiple landing pages without any graphic skills.
Categorization with Groups of landing pages is not sufficient, I would create also labels
Before Instapage the creation of the danding pages took a long time becuase I had to ask to design and IT departments; now I can create quickly all the pages I need.
I do not have experience with any coding languages, so I love Instapage because I can build complex landing pages with basic drag-and-drop tools. My favorite features: - Instablocks, (new feature!!) which allows you to build a landing page from a series of blocks. Block Templates can be inserted and then edited on any landing page. Blocks saved as Global Blocks update across the board, i.e. if you have a footer set as a Global Block when you update a link in the footer, it updates on all landing pages with that block. - Integrations; you can integrate forms on your landing page with quite the handful of software (ex. MailChimp, Salesforce, Google Ads, etc) - Ease of adding images, customization, and changing landing page URLs
A few things my team struggles with on Instapage: - Limiting Integrations; you can only integrate forms to one source at a time. We would prefer to have more than one form on a landing page, so we've had to work around that. - Video Limitations; currently you can only embed YouTube videos to landing pages. - Random updates; lately Instapage has made a few simple tweaks that temporarily throw us off.
Getting information to our customers in a simple, fully customized, and presentable fashion. We love being able to keep a few of our landing pages not searchable, as the information is private to certain users.
The templates are beautiful and easy to build, what I like most is that it has many functions to put its analysis codes so you can track anything, it has many functions to create impressive landing pages, I love the possibility of publishing so many pages Target as you wish, the designs are super easy to use, their templates are powerful and the drag and drop system is so easy that anyone can use it, in addition, you can make different versions for mobile devices in front of desktop computers, easy to combine Easy-to-place sales pages and colors are friendly.
Unfortunately, mobile design is bad, also because the cost factor is a small concern and the tool may seem a bit awkward at times, I could definitely say that Instapage is not the cheapest landing page generator in the market if you have a reduced budget.
Instapage to create different landing pages aimed at different customer segments to different ads, Instapage helped me create home pages without any necessary code, it is probably one of the best options if what you need is a landing page service and not Have a lot of budget.
Being able to save and reuse blocks is so useful!
With the core package you can only have up to 30 published pages, the next step up is an enterprise plan that adds lots of extra features and has a custom price. We only need extra pages, not any of the other features.
Creating landing pages is so easy. Drag and drop interface, option to add your own fonts and lots of other customisable features. Lots of templates to choose from for some inspiration or you can create from scratch. Wordpress integration so publishing landing pages on our website is super easy.
The usability. I took some time to understand the platform but then it was like I was using Canva like super easy platform for making my app install landing page. The best feature is the creation of mobile friendly page. It just took me few changes after regenerating the page and my mobile version of the page was ready in no time.
To resize images and the button dimensions, I had to go back to the desktop edit page and regenerate the mobile page. We can't resize the images and button dimensions in mobile page.
My overall experience with Instapage was very satisfying. I made my first landing page for the app install and signup campaign and the team lead was surprised with the conversion ratios! The conversion ratios had nearly doubled in the very first campaign.
HTML editor, templates, analytics, quick deployment
The invoicing system is manual but an easy fix.
Driving traffic to non-vanity URL pages. This is a good solution for those that need something more robust, responsive and agile as a solution to using a full website. Great for campaigns.
The fact that it allows me to respond quickly to my leads.
There isn't anything I don't like. I have only been using it for a couple of moths
Lead conversion
It's so simple to use and it allows you to everything you would need on a landing page builder. Desktop/ Mobile customization, Easy to use templates, tracking code embed, easy integration to any CRM, page analytics, A/B split test
The look and feel of the overall template pages could be cleaner in my opinion. But on the other hand, the service allows you to customize, move around page sections, and provide your page with custom css coding. A cleaner look could be accomplished but just with more time/work.
Instapage makes it easy for us to build out landing, sales, and thank you pages quickly while allowing us to customize the page to exactly what we want
