1. It more than pays for itself. We get so much in cash back and most functionality is available in free version 2. Incredible level of control over any kind of expenses you can encounter these days 3. International payments 4. Ability to comment and tag users 5. It is both automated (approval workflows) and flexible - it's easy and intuitive, if you need something amended manually, it is easy to do 6. Customer support is exceptional. They get back to you quickly and address your concern efficiently
1. Funding takes a long time (5-7 business days) but there seems to be a way to speed it up by wiring 2. Overall it takes 2-4 business days to process ACH, which is same day or next day in our bank, so urgent payments need to happen outside of Airbase. These two points are minor and not really a concern once you get used to the pace
1. Software sprawl - we can get incredibly granular with what software we buy, how much we want to spend, and for how long. I can purchase a seat for a consultant and can be confident this seat will be deactivated in 3 months 2. Accounting work is very easy due to QB integration, we're getting close to 'continuous close' 3. You can get as many or as few bells and whistles 4. There are workflows, but you can fairly easily override them
Airbase helps establish a transparent process and understanding around funding.
I wish it could be more integrated into the other platforms I use on a daily basis such as Slack or Trello.
Airbase replaces the need for a shared company card that is passed around a team. This is especially helpful for virtual jobs.
Airbase has proven to be simple for submitting and tracking my expenses, and excels in visualizing the process of a purchase order or expense awaiting reimbursement.
It isn't very clear how to undo an expense if I accidentally select a vendor from the auto-populating list. I usually have to delete the expense and start over.
The software helps me keep track of all expenses I need reimbursed as well as helps me keep an eye on my own vendor PO expenses.
As a startup employee, I have found Airbase to be a game-changer when it comes to managing expenses. Airbase makes expense tracking a breeze with the mobile app, paired with email forwarding capabilities. Coming from a larger corporation with legacy solutions, it's really refreshing to use Airbase. I also love the collaboration features within the platform, which allows me to loop in relevant folks - and add notes. Gone are the days with declined reimbursements, and having to resubmit all over again.
So far so good, I don't have any feedback for Airbase as it fits our needs!
Airbase solves our expense management needs as a growing startup. We don't have corporate cards, so the ability to generate virtual card for expenses is great. Also the ability to get stuff reimbursed in a seamless quick manner has been a gamechanger.
I like the fact that airbase is self-serve for employees who need to spend money or request reimbursement. Airbase is very user-friendly and easy to use for our accounting department and employees who do not have an accounting background.
Sometimes Airbase will have latency issues. However, if we reach out to support, the issue is quickly resolved.
Airbase has internal control functionality that we can turn on and tailor by the department. This helps keep our company operating smoothly.
I've used not only for virtual cards but physical cards, and billing uploads are easy. It is has saved so much time and LOVE the ease of approvals.
Nothing comes to mind maybe the smallest con could be the filtering & organizing of certain uploads.
The software is easy to use and navigate, it also helps that the design of the site is not confusing at all.
I recently started using Airbase for my company's finances and am extremely impressed with the platform. What I liked best about Airbase is its user-friendly interface and intuitive design. The platform is extremely easy to navigate and all the features are clearly labeled. This made it easy for me to set up the system and start using it right away. Another aspect I loved about Airbase is its robust feature set. The platform has all the necessary tools for managing expenses, creating budgets, and tracking spending. The expenses tracking feature is particularly impressive, it accurately captures all my expenses and categorizes them making it easy for me to reconcile my accounts. I also appreciate the platform's integration with multiple payment methods, including credit cards, bank transfers, and even PayPal. This added a lot of convenience to my day-to-day operations as I no longer have to switch between different platforms to manage my finances.
I can't think of anything I dislike about Airbase. The platform is simply fantastic and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comprehensive financial management solution.
One of the biggest problems I faced before using Airbase was the hassle of managing receipts. Keeping track of receipts and ensuring they were properly filed was a time-consuming and error-prone process. However, with Airbase, this problem is now a thing of the past. The platform allows me to easily upload and store all my receipts electronically, which makes it easy for me to access them whenever I need them. This has greatly reduced the time I spend on receipt management and has also made the process much more accurate. Getting approvals from the right people in a timely manner had been a hassle before. With Airbase, our finance person can now set up approval workflows that automatically route expenses to the right people for approval. This has significantly streamlined the approval process and has made it easier for me to get the approvals I need to keep my finances in order.
I use Airbase for my work at Everlaw. I LOVE the process of submitting expenses- seriously, why did we not use this sooner?! I take a picture of my receipts, upload them directly to airbase, make sure the details look good (the AI usually pulls everything necessary and I don't need to edit it) and I can promptly forget about it and throw away the receipt. Easy as pie
Honestly, nothing really; I did have one idea: sometimes, the receipts include items I don't want to include in my reimbursement request. Maybe an easy way to exclude line items (i.e., select what item spend to remove) before submitting to my manager.
Submitting expenses for reimbursement. I've most frequently used it on business trips, and it's been invaluable on days when I'm busy moving from place to place and don't want to shove a bunch of receipts in my bag to deal with later. I just use the app on my phone to submit as I spend.
I like that you can use a virtual card, much easier than storing credit card information somewhere else. It is very user-friendly. I'm using this service as an employee, and I believe because it's so seamless, my employer is able to quickly review my requests.
So far there is nothing that I dislike about it. I have not used other services like this, and thus it's 10 steps above filling out reimbursement forms via a spreadsheet or email.
I am easily able to make purchases and get reimbursements. It's all done in a timely and efficient matter. Once my employer approves a purchase, I am very easily able to get the virtual card and seamlessly transition into making the actual purchase. Without this service, it would take much longer, and would be more clunky.
Airbase is very easy to use. Having worked at numerous other companies with homegrown expense management systems, it could be difficult for the user to navigate. I love how easy it is to upload receipts on the go, and to turn them into reimbursement requests. I love that we have personalized email addresses that are easy to remember for sending in receipts.
There is nothing that I dislike about Airbase!
As a business traveler, it is saving me time. I can submit receipts on the go, and then I don't have to save them. Losing receipts is the bane of any business traveler's existence, and Airbase makes that a non issue.
EASY TO NAVIGATE, IT'S FAST AND EFFICIENT.
NO DOWNSIDE, EXCEPT WHEN THE AIRBASE IS DOWN , IT DOES TAKE A WHILE TO GET BACK ONLINE
AT THIS MOMENT, CANNOT FIND ANY PROBLEMS
The amount of vendors built into the platform, along with the easy flexibility when spending in foreign currencies, makes Airbase ideal. It works very well for reimbursements, too.
Some major vendors near my location were not already part of the vendor list, but this was quite simple to fix by adding them myself. Also, while I generally love the interface, initially it took some getting used to, as the virtual cards/requests weren't quite where I'd have expected them to be.
Handling expense management for the first time, I don't know another way — but Airbase allows things to flow smoothly and the interface is very clean and simple.
Airbase enables me to submit personal expenses on the spot, and it accurately reads and autofills much of the information from a photo. Additionally, approving expenses for my employees is really simple--I can view things easily, see categories and comments, and approve expenses on the fly. I've found this system to be simple to use, well-organized, and overall a real timesaver.
I can't think of any dislikes at this time
Expense management is often very time consuming and requires organization--this allows the team to quickly snap a photo, resulting in fewer "lost" receipts, and allows me to see overall team spend trends to ensure we're tracking to budget.
Airbase is very user-friendly and not hard to navigate, a very helpful software and of course, they do have very helpful and responsive customer support. Airbase is a very big help to us in finance to manage all our payments and all are well organize.
As of now none, we are enjoying and we love using Airbase.
Payment processing, since we are in finance we do have a lot of payments that we are processing to our vendors, suppliers and contractors. Airbase is very big help to use on paying all of them on time.
Brings all expense data to one single location. Easy to use interface that has a lot of embedded reporting. Simple way to upload personal travel reimbursements.
Product is still young and not all features are available. Would be nice to be able to group reimbursements instead of input one by one. But they are adding new features rapidly.
It was hard to keep track of expenses (invoices, travel, etc). With Airbase we can now provide much better expense reporting, while at the same time enforcing our spend and approval controls.
Airbases Expense Management is a life changer. I've used several expense management tools at larger publically traded companies and none were as good as Airbase.
It might have just been my experience but the app SSO sometimes was tricky to navigate and use sometimes. Otherwise nothing else I disliked only things I really liked.
Airbases Spend Management is the biggest problem they solve for Recharge. Having to keep receipts is a pain and Airbase's ability to scan them makes it so much easier.
Simplicity in being able to submit, track and get reimbursed for transactions.
Nothing comes to mind. I have not run into an issue that I would criticize.
They are making it easy to submit receipts for reimbursement and track my transactions.
I love how user-friendly Airbase is to use. It's very intuitive and easy to track all my company spending. It also makes it very easy to submit and track reimbursements.
I wish more than one person could own a credit card and use it to make purchases instead of sharing for only a maximum of 2 weeks.
Airbase has solved the problem of issuing credit cards to provide a separate budget for company committees as well as submitting reimbursements for weekly lunches and travel expenses.
Very simple and easy to use. I enjoy the fast pace of it.
There are nothing that I dislike about Airbase. It is an amazing tool.
It helped me process my expense report very easily.
I highly recommend Airbase as a spending management platform. This platform has been a valuable asset to our organization, allowing us to streamline our expense management process. Airbase has been the right tool to automate the process of expense reporting and reimbursement, making the process faster, more efficient and accurate. One of the key features that I appreciate about Airbase is its flexibility and scalability. The platform can be easily customized to match our company's specific needs, including integration with other financial systems. Additionally, the platform's user-friendly interface makes it easy for employees to submit expenses and for finance teams to review and approve them. The platform also has robust security features, ensuring that our financial data is kept safe and secure at all times. Overall, Airbase has been a game-changer for our organization. It has helped us save time, money and resources, and has allowed us to have better control over our expenses. I highly recommend Airbase to any organization looking to improve their expense management process.
I don't have any complains. Airbase it's a good fit for our organization.
