Zenler is extremely full featured, especially considering it's cost. It has many included features that even more expensive systems don't always have, including synchronous and asynchonous teaching and learning elements. For example it includes Zoom live meetings, video, discussions, and more.
Some features don't yet work as well as desired but they are still fully functional. Examples of less functional featres are quizzes and discussions. However, they are available and do work. We have been asking for more features and they aren't yet implemented. But they will be, as other features do become available.
Selling and delivering my online courses. Zenler integrates with payment systems (Stripe and PayPal) and works very well for this purpose. I am able to use various content types/media such as text, audio, PDFs, Articulate Rise within my courses, which is very important and makes my courses better for my students.
Zenler has many features including live streaming, marketing via email, web hosting, learners, teachers and more. It makes setting up and starting up your online school is simple. It can host your website and blog. You can integrate funnels, payments, emails and even a blog.Learners can easily register and pay to take courses.
I have no dislike about Zenler beause it currently serves our needs satisfactorily.
Zenler provides an avenue for us to create and share short courses with our staff and partners interactively. It enhances the learning experience and facilitates our human resource development efforts. It saves time, money, increases the knowledge and skills of our team members making them more competitive.
I love that everything is all together. Honestly, if there were a way to do full checkouts and send contracts, you wouldn't need anything else. You have courses with automations attached, funnels for freebies, live webinars/classes, email broadcasts, a full website, and blog. I switched to Zenler after my team begged me to leave the full of options, but complicated system I was using for both courses and checkout. (Yes, begged!) After spending far too much time researching, I decided to go in with Zenler. I haven't been disappointed. While I'm someone who likes to tinker with the aesthetic of everything, my clients actually found the structure/layout for courses much simpler. Over all, that's how I'd describe Zenler - not quite as many options as I'm used to, but simpler on both the back end and front end. Instead of taking hours to setup a course, it takes maybe 30 minutes. I've created a template now for my bigger programs, so it only takes a few minutes to clone the whole template, and then tweak for each individual course. I really enjoy how simple to use Zenler is, and how many things I can control from the same platform. I've eliminated a lot of other services I use, and I may release another one this year.
There's a few minor things missing to make Zenler a near perfect platform. Sales pages/checkout - I periodically run into issues with the stats. This might be an issue with my account though - I've been meaning to rope in support, but haven't had time. I would LOVE a full checkout that's not attached to courses. For courses, I'd love a way to track abandoned carts and send triggered automations. I like using the option to make clients complete a course module before moving forward, but then you can't attach bonuses at the bottom of the course. I still use my Wordpress blog, as it seems the NZ blog still has some quirks. More elevated page templates would be nice - I ended up buying some though, which isn't a huge issue, but they are drastically nicer than the ones provided. It would also be nice to have easier ways to update all fonts at once on a page. I also wish some of the help/how to's were in text form. I struggle with auditory processing, and I haven't tested their Live webinar/classes option because I simply don't have the brain energy to learn how to do it via video right now.
The big benefit is having everything in one system, and being able to do things so quickly. I'm saving SO much time in every step of the way. In my old system, payment plans and coupons were a huge hassle, and this is so simple. I can also add clients manually much, much easier. I'm slowly shifting all my funnels over to Zenler - stats are limited at moment, but it does look like optins convert better using Zenler's templates.
They keep adding new things like built in Zoom. I don't need a separate email program for sending auto-responder emails. It includes video hosting so that has saved me money. And support is really responsive.
I wish they would email new updates rather than just posting on their facebook page. Community and Quizzes are available but on the list for a revamp as they are pretty basic. But they continue to improve what's available and add new things without the price changing.
It is easier for me to set up my courses and funnels, allowing me to spend more time teaching.
1. Very easy to use 2. Integrated with email, funnels, payments and blogs 3. Good education material available 4. Active community of users 5. Courses, bundles and memberships available
1. All features are very basic. There is a lot of scope for enhancements 2. Designed for single people, does not offer marketplace facilities 3. Templates and designs are basic, these could be more dynamic
1. Hosting my site and courses 2. Hosting my blog
On Zenler everything is in one place, you have your meetings, calendar scheduling, course platform, funnels, and email mailing. The AI feature on it is good as well. Everything is very easy to learn to use and is constantly updating.
We have had hiccups with Zenler in emails and meetings but it is a work in progress. The team is constantly improving things and the customer support is very good.
It hosts our course in one place, making it easy for our students to access material with ease.
It looks really good on their website in terms of the graphical part.
It's a really flawed product that often fails and the developers have a very poor understanding of quality. Last year one of the controls to display books for students failed and it was impossible to use it. It took them 2 months to fix it so we couldn't use it in the meantime to add new materials. They also released a new tool for questionnaires that has several bugs and often doesn't save the questions. There is a security issue that allows anyone to access your courses without logging in (I've reported it several times but they haven't fixed it). When I add new contacts, I get 18 emails confirming that I added the contacts. The only reason we are not moving away is because we have all our classes there. Stay away if you can, only use it if you are very short of cash. The customer service is also poor.
Teach courses
Everything under one roof. All very easy to get going and udnerstand.
So far there is nothing that I dislike..
No more connecting multiple platforms which cause headaches and extra expense.
I love that it's all in one similar to kajabi, but a great price! It's designed to help get you up and running quickly.
As with anything, there is a learning curve, so watching tutorials takes time to know how to set up everything properly.
I am running my membership business entirely through Zenler. Having email and stripe integration is so nice and makes me more profitable and productive.
I like the best the great free tools, the professional look and feel of the results, you don't need to know about design or UX to make it look good and easy to use.
At the beginning, I didn't know how to change colors or features, maybe more tutorials or templates.
I am a consultant, Zenler gives me the opportunity to show colleagues how their school would look without spending money at first.
- Easy to use interface - Incredibly powerful upselling/cross-selling features - Clean site design with loads of templates - Easy integration with 3rd party software - Easy to implement - Fair price point - Quick support service
School education is a massive industry and with some work New Zenler could be a lead in one of the largest industries in the world. To run in formal schooling, New Zenler very much needs the ability: - to sign on district admins, principals, teachers and students under different account types. Educators can then track progress across their class and admins & education companies see aggregated data for reporting and subsequent funding. - for SSO for student sign-on (we should never know student email credentials) - for a school to onboard 1000 students in one go (even higher if an entire district buys in) - To integrate with Google classroom and Microsoft Teams seamlessly via API - to have data centers in G20 countries as some systems will block the software if the data moves offshore - to run microlearning and give badges on completion Outside of education, the ability of a SCORM export function would mean that the hardwork produced in the software can then be moved to other platforms when requested
New Zenler solves the problem of being able to distribute courses to teachers. This benefits us by being able to bring our courses to people worlwide.
1. It is an all-in-one LMS with hosting, students, faculty, email marketing, funnels, and live 2. It is easy to configure and launch your online school 3. You can host your site and blog, thus making it very convenient.
1. It has all the basic features but does not have advanced capcbilities 2. The sites load slowly as per Google and therefore SEO gets impacted 3. The development team works slowly and does not share a roadmap
I use Zenler to host my site, blogs and offer courses. The platform could be more flexible and practical for running a business. The speeds are slow, and poor flexibility for offering courses in multiple currencies.
