Ease of use; easy to train company employees; excellent integrated tools to manage applicant communications (from bulk rejection emailing, to adding applicants, to video screen technology, etc.); very good reporting tools built in; built-in apis with top external job boards - simple to activate; very good linked referral site for employees to use for referring candidates to requisitions; very good customer service and support from the company; and finally, very fairly priced.
More detailed/customizable reporting capabilities missing; req. timing while built into the system, is not easily obtained for a req. through the reporting system; no "Mailchimp" like capabilities in the system to reach out to prospective candidates (it can be done but challenging); no real ability to do a conceptual search or boolean search on applicant pool in your database
Looking for a cost-effective ATS that allows us to quickly post positions, integrating with various popular job boards, incorporates technologies that allow us to better connect with and communicate with our candidate customers. And finally, a system that allows to properly disposition candidates. All that plus the ability to offer hiring managers ease of use if they wish to self-serve their talent recruiting needs. Workable has done all that and more. We have done a lot of recruiting with a very low people and $$ overhead.
I love workable for its easy to use, and track system. It is incredibly user friendly, and at a price that wont break your companies bank. It integrates seamlessly into multiple different applications to maintain your hiring process in one place. Its a place where hiring managers, CFO's and recruiters to maintain contact on ongoing projects and give feedback/view candidates without having lengthy meetings or calls! The thing I like most about workable: they release new updates consistently based on client feedback through email!
Sometimes, I dont love their updates. It is time consuming getting set up (like any other software) and doesnt integrate with everything our company uses for its hiring process just yet.
Workable has created an easy way to post, manage, and track jobs & candidates in one easy to use place. Sometimes the updates arent great. For example, they just updated their workabel powered career pages, and I am not a huge fan of the layout. It can be annoying as well that you cant have interview processes per job, some jobs we post require additional steps than others so some of the useful fetaures sometimes add more work. The benefit is, I can tell workable this and they will try and figure out a solution to continue making their ATS a user friendly system.
The customer success team at Workable is fantastic--they are timely in getting back to us on platform issues, feedback, feature requests, etc. For our small business, the platform is cost-effective, and the automated actions are a lifesaver.
I wish it was a bit easier to get a sense from a high level of what candidates currently have scheduled interviews. In addition, I wish the self-scheduling link was able to be incorporated into the automated actions for group interviews so links don't need to be created each time you move someone or a group of people to the interview stage
Workable is helping us keep track of and manage our hiring process and candidate recruitment from end to end. All talent management, interviewing, and job posting is done through the platform.
Workable is extremely user friendly and the technology is easy to learn. At our company, hiring managers are heavily involved in the recruitment process. Workable allows the HR team to have extreme oversight over the hiring managers and the system makes it easy to stay organized. Workable is also competitively priced.
Workable is extremely innovative and announces new features often; however, those new features come at an additional cost.
There are a lot of features within Workable that have helped our business solve problems. The sourced feature uses technology to source candidates that have not applied to the position, but seem to be a good fit. This allows us to have a larger candidate pool without adding additional time. The templates are also extremely useful and easy to set up. Workable comes with a slew of templates and you are able to edit and create new ones according to your business needs.
Easy movement for applicants, interview scheduling
1 - No useful report except, hiring velocity (that too get updates after 6 hours from the time of performing the action, have you ever hear about such an online platform that takes time to create the report? I guess no, that's why we use online applications) 2 - Poor workflow & automation with limited access & utility. 3 - Can't create custom automation, report, field. 4 - Poor support, they don't have any information about their own products and are not available during IST time. 5 -you cannot create many useful reports that any organisation would require to understand the insight and Trends of recruitment and unfortunately you need to be dependent on the reports that were cable is providing which is very basic. 6 -Lengthy process and operations, if you want to perform more than 1 action, you will have to go through multiple threads. 7 - No option to create HTML templates & customisable subject lines. 8 - No video conferencing integration with the outlook calendar. 9 - You can not track the shared profiles with the hiring manager & also don't have the option to share the resumes in bulk. 10 - I feel workable is developed while underestimating the HR folks. 11 - No option to create report Dashboard 12 - No option to email tracking(like sent, seen, delivered, opened) 13 - No otion to send interview, feedback reminders There are many more drawbacks of workable but above are the major drawbacks that I felt are very important to have for any modern ATS nowadays.
Recruitment
1. Keeping the track record of candidates and Feedback. 2. Offered candidates track record.
1. If the candidate does not want to join on the agreed date and to proposes for the next joining date, then we have to delete the entire candidature and do it once again, which I don't like.
1. Avoiding feedbacks on Email my problem is solved here, and moving the candidate to the hired stage and keeping track is helping me with benefits.
The interface and usability of Workable are very good. Everything is in a logical location which makes it easy to find. It can automatically post open positions to a number of free and premium job boards. Managing responses, teh various interview stages, ruling candidates in/out and sharing feedback across our team is very easy with this platform.
There is little to dislike about the platform. If I was being picky, though the UI is easy to use it does not feel very modern.
Managing the volume of responses from jobs boards, keeping everyone involved in the process informed and tracking people who re-apply are all difficult with email/other offline solutions. Workable vastly improves this.
Price (I'm grandfathered in on old pricing), ease of use, free advertising.
Limited search capabilities within applicant pool.
Managing applicant flow and advertising are the problems we're solving. I've implemented it 3 times, and that's easy.
