As a social media manager and SEO specialist, I spend a lot of time creating, scheduling, and monitoring accounts for multiple clients. My company and I have gone through several prominent and obscure hubs for posting on social media, including SEMrush, HootSuite, loomly, and a few others that are not as well known. SocialPilot has been the one we've stuck with the longest because of its ease of use, number of features, and wide range of platforms that it integrates with. Primarily, we have struggled to find a good platform that accommodates Google Business Profile posting; while this is more common nowadays, I know that there are still plenty of platforms that don't have GBP posting. In addition, I am someone who relies heavily on the monthly (not weekly) calendar view when outlining the month's schedule. The excellent UI means that I can check, at a glance, what is still outstanding for the month. The price point of many platforms has also been a difficulty. We usually have between 10 and 20 accounts throughout the year, depending on what projects we are working on. As a small business that doesn't charge an arm and a leg for social management, most platforms are not cost-effective for our team to use at the scale we do. SocialPilot has excellent price points for us, and we can easily add to or remove from our "maximum account" limit when we onboard or offboard clients. This makes a huge difference - if we go over our limit, we don't have to increase our tier (gaining a huge cost for a higher limit but also features that we won't use). When we recently lost a few big social media clients with several accounts due to the economic dip, we considered looking for a smaller platform in order to save money. However, SocialPilot's pricing was the absolute best that we found for small businesses, and we have continued with them even though our current clients are primarily using our other services. Their customer support has also been stellar. I haven't needed to contact them often, but they always have swift replies. They are also on top of contacting their customers when there are API outages. I have also been contacted by their team to discuss ideas for their platform after submitting suggestions on their website; this is a first! Most companies just say "thank you" and then never follow up. I've spoken with a client manager and software engineer about my user experience, and they were very polite and receptive - though I have no idea if my suggestions were new or innovative, they still made me feel like the company was paying attention to their customers. :) Another item that makes me suggest SocialPilot to other businesses is that they have a wide variety of white-label reporting options for analytics. They also let users add team members and client accounts for collaboration and approval. While we don't use this feature, I think it's an excellent option for customers to have. When we've implemented this before, it has been straightforward and fast. Finally, if you're someone who likes a lot of bells and whistles or someone who likes to keep their software simple, SocialPilot lets you adapt the UI and tools to your needs. I've never felt overwhelmed or pressured to utilize tools that I simply don't need - and they've never gotten in the way of my work. The platform integrates with Canva, has a content library for an additional cost, lets you manage messaging, and allows users to set up regular scheduling per account (which is very easy to utilize when posting).
There is very little to say about the downsides of SocialPilot, and most of them are limitations reflected in other platforms. It would be easier if, when scheduling a post, I could see the recommended posting times for the account like I can when posting directly from the content manager in Meta Suite. If I want to do this, I need to either analyze the data myself or go to the Meta Suite manager to see what Facebook says. The scheduler is also set for specific times over a week. I don't post at the same time every week on Facebook or Instagram, so I use this feature for GBP only. It would be a better system for me to use if I could set up a queue based on a schedule that I arrange on a month-to-month basis. Unfortunately, I don't think this is something that will be implemented on any posting platform. Sometimes I receive errors when posting to different accounts, and it is not always clear when the issue is based on the error code. This takes a lot of time to troubleshoot if it's an obscure issue. Finally, a note for some users - Facebook posting doesn't permit you to add a messaging or call button to your post. This limits my ability to use SocialPilot for some clients due to the nature of their requests. This is something that I would like to see eventually.
As a company with a wide range of clients who post on many platforms, SocialPilot is software that we use daily throughout our company to maintain client social pages. It allows us to do the majority (if not all) of our social media management from a single place at a price point that suits the scale of our client base. We are able to assemble, schedule, and monitor posts faster and easier than ever before. We are able to take on more clients than before and provide higher quality content for existing customers.
User-Friendly Interface: Navigating through Social Pilot is as smooth as a well-aged scotch. The dashboard is intuitive, making it easy to schedule posts, track analytics, and manage multiple accounts. Cost-Effective: Unlike some of its high-maintenance competitors, Social Pilot offers robust features without burning a hole in your pocket. It's the Tesla of social media tools—luxury at an affordable price.
Limited Integrations: While it covers the major platforms, I'd love to see more third-party integrations. But hey, nobody's perfect. Costs for Upgrades: When adding on other more advanced features, the cost starts to compare with other social media management platforms that may do a better job
This app provides for me the ability to efficiently communicate across all of the social media channels I manage at a cost that was less expensive than other tools considering the features I am using. I have demo'd how I am using this with others I work with and they too have seen the benefits and have become interested in using it as well. This tool is a must if you are managing multiple channels.
As a busy professional, I need a social media management tool that is easy to use and makes my life easier. That's why I love SocialPilot. The UX is excellent, and creating posts is a breeze. The design is smooth, and the workflow is intuitive. And the best part is the price is perfect for my needs. It has all the social media integrations I need, plus some that I'm interested in but haven't gotten around to using yet. Overall, SocialPilot is a great tool I highly recommend to anyone looking for a social media management solution.
As anyone who has tried to post to Instagram knows, it can be a bit of a process. First, you must take or upload a photo, then edit it to perfection. Once you're happy with the photo, you must choose between posting it to your feed, your story, or your reel. And if you want to post it to multiple places, you must do the whole process again. Social Pilot has recently updated its capabilities to allow users to post directly to reels and stories. While there may still be some issues with posting to Instagram, they are quickly resolved.
As a small business owner, I know how important it is to have an active presence on social media. However, between running my business and managing my clients' accounts, I often don't have the time to keep up with all the different networks. That's where Social Pilot comes in. With Social Pilot, I can quickly and easily post to the top social media networks, saving me time and money. Social Pilot also helps me schedule my posts effectively and use RSS feeds to generate content for my social media accounts. This way, I can be sure that my social media accounts are always active and up-to-date. Thanks to Social Pilot, I can focus on what's important - running my business - without worrying about my social media presence.
I like SocialPilot's overall functionality for the price. It is a good tool for managing multiple social media accounts.
I dislike that I cannot drag and drop posts into the order I want them shared after I have added them to the feed for a social media account.
SocialPilot makes it easy to maintain a regular stream of social media shares to multiple client accounts.
Being able to schedule posts easily and concurrently across multiple platforms is Godsend.
The price could be reduced further - while it's better priced than competition.
Increasing engagement with business profiles across social platforms.
Ease of scheduling to multiple different platforms at once.
When scheduling, entering the time for the post to share is difficult and frustrating. It would also be great if the scheduling calendar could remember what the last date you scheduled for was to make scheduling multiple posts at once more efficient.
As a small business, we feel that the price point of SocialPilot is appropriately priced, making it more feasible for us to use a scheduling platform without costing an arm and leg. We can schedule to more accounts by using this platform.
Easy to post across multiple platforms in one go. Really like the new 'Preview' mode so you can see what your post should look like on each platform. Is by far the best value compared to other similar competitors
Nothing to dislike. From time to time get errors when posts are scheduled but it is usually a case of the account getting disconnected so takes no longer than 30 seconds to get everything up and running again.
We manage around 30 social media accounts for our franchisees, which we post content on daily. SocialPilot is the most cost-effective way to do this, other providers usually have very high costs to add more than 5 social accounts.
I am a freelance SMM with a handful of clients and a growing portfolio. I tend to serve smaller businesses and entrepreneurs looking for affordable services. When looking for a content planner, it was important for me to have very specific features while also keeping the cost low so that I could pass saving on to my clients. After researching several options, Social Pilot was a great solution. Since subscribing, I have also been very impressed with their customer service. They are easy to get a hold of and to talk to. I don't feel like I'm chatting with a robot or someone who only responds with vague prompts.
One of the features I would really like to have is a preview grid for Instagram, but I did ask them about it, and they heard my request. The interface also feels a little clunky/outdated, but that's not so important as long as it works as intended.
Being able to manage a multitude of social media accounts with a few team members at an affordable rate. It is also nice to have an app/interface for my clients to review content easily.
