Really useful tool to help me identify larger e-commerce customers. Used the data to show the customer too which will help them target new lanes.
One customer I used it for the traffic said there were large numbers of visits from Mauritius which was inaccurate as they had their own software and no visits were recorded from here.

It is easy to find helpful and profound information.
It does not have APPs data. A popular website appears without "relevant data". It does not make sense.
It helps understand market share, traffic evolution of our competitors.
Ability to compare and contrast clients versus their competitors. The new updates that are continuously added are explained well and enhance the experience.
Broader use of both mobile and desktop traffic across all metrics would be extremely helpful, but I understand that is underway
Bringing together many data sources to have it all in one place. For example, being able to view competitor creative has been extremely helpful

Identifying Business Opportunities.
Very rich tool that allows us to compare across industry and product lines. Love the keyword suggestions (trending, questions)
It does take a bit of time to orient yourself and get to know the interface. There's a lot of features to learn!
With only our internal data (Analytics and Ad spend) we weren't able to see the bigger picture. Similarweb allows us to see industry wide trends to compare our performance to.
The chrome extension is convenient as it allows me to quickly analyse a website, providing instrumental insight which helps massively in my job. It is quick to load and pretty reliable.
I wish it also doubled up as a contact finder - it would be helpful if we could see the key contacts/emails/numbers of people in the industry as this would make sales jobs more accessible, as currently, we have to use multiple software to do this.
It allows me to see the views on a website with one click, the bounce rate and the key countries that visit. Similarweb benefits me as it gives additional insight into potential customers, with information that contacts at the company may not have to hand.
Was able to successfully use Similar Web to pull in-depth data on top-ranking job board sites in Japan and was even able to break it down by industry. Very impressive!
Would be awesome if there was a way to pull Audience Overlap for each of these industries to show % or # of visitors that my company is not making contact with. I've been advised it is available but not in Pro. All in all, great experience though.
Identifying niche job board websites in different companies in Europe and Japan that may match our partner target audience. Love the. export tool as well. Super easy to use.
The breadth of merics. The most important metrics for me have been overall traffic and engagement over time, inbound/outbound traffic, and competitor comparison analysis.
Inbound/outbound referral comparions between sites sometimes does not match. More clarity in what are the inputs and definitons into how the values are calculated.

Similarweb has helped us greatly in gauging competitor landscape and aligning our marketing strategies accordingly. Data from SimilarWeb is always accurate and trust worthy.
For the sites which are relatively new and do not have considerable traffic, the insights are limited in SimilarWeb. This is something which needs to be worked upon.
Guaging where our competition is investing in terms of user acquisition through their traffic types is something which is immensely helpful for us from Similarweb.
The market analysis section. It gives detailed information on different chosen industries.
That U can't look day to day and the smallest/closest window is the last 28 days.
Finding competiors in different search buckets.
Similarweb has all the functionality we need in one place. Data is clearly presented and the tool is intuitive to use. New users are able to get up and running with minimal training.
There isn't much that would deter me from using the product or from recommending an alternative to a colleague.
Similarweb allows the team to easily and quickly obtain analytics on competitors' and prospective clients' websites. It helps us determine which prospective clients are the best fit for our organization.
The training sessions from the account managers are great and show that the company have a great understanding of what people use the tool for.
It would be great to see more development around audience profiling
Helping to see what people are searching to land on pages is a great help for seeing how people use search to find news on certain topics
Having metrics on websites to allow me identifying lead opportunities.
Sometimes not having metrics on smaller websites, not able to identify niches.

It gives a good approximation to numbers in terms of volume but isn't 100% precise. It is still useful as it provides an accurate understanding of market trends
It assists us in identifying partner marketing opportunities, improving our SEO and PPC strategies, and determining how our audience behaves outside of our eco-system.

From a user experience standpoint, there is no comparison. SimliarWeb is hands-down the best option on the market for accessing competitor marketing insights month-to-month or year over year. Their customer support team is also without comparison and is always available 24/7 to answer your questions and concerns. Our shift to SimilarWeb has been excellent, and our efficiency has increased drastically.
It is very challenging to find anything to dislike. The platform is excellent, the team behind the product is fantastic, and the company's production roadmap looks bright!
