I appreciate Cloudflare CDN for its performance, security features, and ease of use. It offers fast content delivery, DDoS protection, and SSL encryption. The user-friendly dashboard and cost-effective pricing are also often cited as positives.
common dislikes about Cloudflare CDN can include potential costs associated with certain features or overage charges, as well as occasional configuration complexities for advanced users.
Cloudflare CDN solves several critical problems. Firstly, it significantly improves website loading speed by caching content on servers located worldwide, which benefits both user experience and SEO. Secondly, it enhances security by protecting against DDoS attacks and web threats. Additionally, it helps to reduce bandwidth costs by optimizing data delivery. These combined benefits result in a faster, more secure, and cost-efficient online presence for my website.
The Cloudflare DNS is a well structuree DNS system. The Cloudflare DNS is the enterprise grade authoritative DNS service that always increases the response time.IT always provide the built in DDoS protection to safe the applications from attacks. One single click can deploy the DNSSEC layer to protect the DNS records from any vulnerabilities.
The Cloudflare DNS is a very good DNS provider. It always has expensive fee and subcription charges. So it is really costy.I think it should be charged as the company size and structure. The Cloudflare DNS has few options which is reallt diffcult to navigate and understand.
The Cloudflare DNS is a very secure DNs as it provide the fastest web content delivery with the trust factor. The Cloudflare DNS also help the CDN to optimize the web page load time. The free trial are really good to use for the over all testing of the system.I have realized that it works very well and makes the users happy.
If you're looking to scale, CloudFlare is a great solution for their services. They offer security and distribution for all sizes of businesses. In my startup, we saved over 2000 USD per month by using their CDN. In a startup crowd, that is a big win for ~20 bucks a month. On top of that, it also resolved about 300 attacks on our site per month and greatly decreased the amount of servers we needed since it would serve a lot of content from cache.
I don't really like the gap between the startup cost (20 USD) and the business costs. We feel like we are somewhere in-between where we want to pay a little more but can't afford the big-company costs.
We were dealing with high-cost servers with an expensive CDN. We needed to grow quickly as our traffic was exploding and didn't have a grandeur budget.
- Innovative product but competition offered the same for lower price - When I stopped using cloudflare products
- Bad user interface - Complicated pricing and billing - My website got attacked and customer support did not really help me out
No benefits realized with Cloudflare CDN
The security features are extremely impressive. The DNS management is super easy. The developer API is extremely useful for integration with CI. The CDN features help reduce our need to serve those resources consistently and allow our servers to focus more on our data processing.
Wish there was a way to cherry pick the features I needed. Reduce prices, the costs are a bit high for low budget startups. Also allow multiple users to manage a domain on CloudFlare
We had the constant issue of renewing ssl certifications and provisioning them, with CloudFlare we have eliminated a possible failure points. We also reduced the load on our servers allowing them to do more data processing.
Easy to setup, good value for the price, many features, all you need in other words. Obviously to feel the whole power of the service you need to be an Enterprise client, where you get lots of features that allowyou configuring CloudFlare right up to your needs. Except many features that come with Enterprise plan, you get their amazing customer success team that is always ready to help and really helpful.
DNS management UI could be much better. Right now it's really simple and is more oriented on novice users than professionals.
Content delivery and caching. Content caching helps to reduce load on origin servers, thus reducing the number of servers needed for the platform to run.
Cloud Flare is above all else, a community. It really does feel like that and it shines through in their support and resources that they have available. The best part is that their pricing structure is super simple, no weird tiers or anything like that to worry about.
I wish I had access to DDOS protection without having to pay the $200 a month. I'm on the basic plan and the jump in price to the next plan was a little high for me to swallow, but its a minor complaint since for an actual business, $200 is nothing.

The free plan on CloudFlare is simply unbelievable value. For the low cost of nothing, you gain a world class CDN system which offers enterprise level security that rivals many premium, high cost solutions. The variety of features is astonishing too, with free SSL certificates, caching services and advanced analytics included also with the free plan.
It's hard to fault CloudFlare, but if I were to criticise something it would be that many of the caching features cause severe breakage to a site. For example, whenever I enable the Rocket Loader my WordPress sites are always broken in some form. However, beggars can't be choosers and these issues can simply be averted by not enabling this feature.
The main reason we first started using CloudFlare within our business was to upgrade all of our sites to SSL effortlessly, in preparation for the new Google HTTPS stricter rules. CloudFlare served this function perfectly, saving us money on advanced SSL certificates as well as time on installing these certificates manually. Since then, we have explored the other features of CloudFlare and impressed has been an understatement. As stated earlier, the benefits of CloudFlare are simply astonishing for a free product.
