The best thing about KARTRA is it has all the options Like: E-mail marketing Membership platform E-commerce video hosting Its like ready to go TOOL
In the beginning it difficult to learn but once's you have hang of it is the best tool i have ever came across
It has email broadcasts option which really helps.
I love how well it covers the bases and fits together, eliminating the need for all the usual collection of various software solutions (that you end up working hard to get talking to each other and continuing to do so smoothly).
I'd like to see a more mature page builder. But Thrive Architect is peerless in that respect, and I doubt if Kartra will catch up to that level. In fairness, I use Kartra for most things and Thrive Architect for my actual web pages, and that's a great match.
We use Kartra for lead capture, for product setup, shopping cart and payments, and our membership areas. Plus we use it for email campaigns and communicating with our members.
Kartra is an all-in-one marketing platform that offers a range of features and tools for businesses. Some potential pros of Kartra include: - Ease of use: Kartra is designed to be user-friendly and easy to navigate, making it accessible for businesses of all sizes and levels of technical expertise. - Comprehensive feature set: Kartra offers a wide range of marketing tools, including email marketing, landing page builder, membership site builder, and more, which can help businesses streamline their marketing efforts and save time. - Integration with other tools: Kartra integrates with a variety of other tools and platforms, such as payment gateways and webinar software, which can help businesses streamline their workflow and automate certain tasks. - Customer support: Kartra provides access to a team of customer support representatives who are available to help users with any issues or questions they may have.
There are a few potential cons to consider when evaluating Kartra as a marketing platform: - Cost: Kartra is a paid platform, and the cost can be relatively high depending on the features and tools that a business needs. This may not be feasible for businesses with a limited budget. - Limited customization: While Kartra offers a wide range of features and tools, some users may find that the level of customization is limited compared to other platforms.
Following problems have been resolved by Kartra: - Affiliate management: Kartra includes an affiliate management system that allows businesses to easily set up and manage an affiliate program to promote their products or services. -Marketing automation: Kartra includes marketing automation tools that allow businesses to set up automated campaigns and workflows, which can help save time and improve the efficiency of their marketing efforts.
The advantages with kartra is the availability to do everything directly on it no more need of several site or software for our tasks with kartra everything is done on site
the disadvantage that I find in kartra is in their price plan, they should try to review their prices so that more users explore the advantages and potential that offers.
kartra allows me to be more productive on my daily and especially monthly tasks, with all the tools they put at our disposal I am 100% profitable in my business and its boost our online activities.
I like being to clone previous broadcasts to send out to subscribers for recurring events. I also like being able to create different types of forms (applications, surveys, sign-ups, etc.) in the app.
I think Kartra can be a bit bulky and there is definitely a learning curve. However, once you learn how to use and set up the features it can be a great business tool.
I use Kartra for one of my clients as a virtual assistant. I schedule broadcasts and newsletters, create forms, update landing pages, and follow up with client membership orders.
I like they guide me to use their platform. It has everything in one, email, funnels, memberships, and so much more. I really like on the side of the platform it tells you the percentage of how far you are to completing your task that you want to do. It also has step by step instructions which are super easy to follow.
Not much but how the email is set up. It doesn't flow as well as other platforms. When editing emails it's a little bit more cumbersome because it has a pop-up that you put your info in if your copy and pasting, which I can't stand.
I turned to Kartra because I just wanted a one-stop-shop and cut out using different platforms which I use to use, click funnels, active campaign and they where great but I like to make my life easy and have everything on one platform plus one payment.
Kartra is awesome for coaches/course creators/consultants and those with a need for a membership platform. The payoff once everything is set up is that it's mostly hands-off and runs itself. It's super easy to attach your payment processor(s) and create different payment options for your products. Setting up each area is accompanied by inline, easy to understand instruction that even self-professed non-techies can conquer.
One issue I had with Kartra was that each element had to be published before it could be attached/linked to another, which means a lot of back and forth when you have a product that has multiple parts: product, landing page, membership portal + all the little pieces that made each of those up. The other issue, which was an issue for me as an advanced WordPress designer, was the restrictions and having to format each block of the design repeatedly. Admittedly, given time constraints of the project, I was unable to search around for landing page customization tutorials which may have helped to iron out the issues we were having with how images appeared on mobile if even the tiniest modification was made to a preset content block. The saving grace with that part of the cons was that it was super easy for me to create the landing pages we wanted in WordPress and have CTA buttons connect to the checkout page and subsequent automations in Kartra, so it wasn't a total loss.
My experiences with Kartra came by way of my role as Consultant and Designer, assisting one client with making the decision to move ahead with Kartra, and another with the setup and rollout of her programs.
Katra has everything you need for being succesful with your marketing campaign, It has all the tools you'd need ( video hosting, webpages, email handling etc..) and much more! It saves a lot of hours in your daily life.
It's a bit hard to set it up if you're not familiar with marketing, hope they'll make everything way easier
It made my life so much easier with my online business, simplifying my marketing campaigns for my own needs.
I love that so much of my business can be run and managed in Kartra - online courses and memberships, landing pages, email marketing campaigns. The page builder is easy to use, and allows you to create amazing sales, landing, and webpages so easilt.
I find the user interface a little slow and clunky. There are also difference between how you do something in the page builder vs in the email builder which is a annoying. I do find the tool in general slow to move through the screens - those darn cog wheels!
Love being able to build sophisticated email sequences and funnels. Creating and selling online courses in the same platform is amazing, and Kartra doesn't take an extra % cut on sales! Overall has simplified the number of apps I use in my business.
Having everything in one place is so handy. I love that my membership, my affiliate, my products, and my cart are all on the same platform. Yes many all-in-ones do this, but I like the flow of kartra. i also like the built-in page builder. It is a time saver. I also love having the analytics right there.
It took a minute to learn the order in which to create the components in a campaign. Having the product be the last thing you build seemed counterintuitive, but once I had the order in my head that actual building is very easy.
Ease of use and having everything in one place. It has also saved me time and money managing (and paying for) multiple platforms to run my business.
Have a good user interface, which makes our lives easier.
- Kartra branding on emails should be removed and should be able to reduce the size of the information on the bottom (Unsubscribe and Address) - Should have an easier way to monitor links clicked on broadcast sent. (Right now it’s very complicated, specially if have more the one link on a single email) - Unpublish a page - Should have “Undo” on broadcasts (if by accident delete something, have to do it all again - “Confirm Delete" popup ) - Coupon for “Extra Month”, "Extra week" or specific time period - On “Sales” at Dashboard homepage, should have the option to see monthly sales (not only the last 7 days) - For no reason, many users have been blacklisted (should have a way to fix it)
- Easy to create landing pages - Membership - payment integration - Monitoring - Automation
There are a lot of things to like about Kartra, specifically the absolute all-in-one platform they have. It goes far beyond just designing a website/landing page or sending an email. They cover all the bases - from websites, landing pages, email marketing/automation with sequences and tagging, funnels, simple e-commerce, digital downloads, membership sites, help desk, scheduling, forms, affiliates and now an agency solution. If you'd like to consolidate the many platforms you use, Kartra can handle 95% of everything you throw at it. Their support group on Facebook is second to none. They truly care about their people and it shows; it's like a family.
Learning the platform was a long, complicated process. They have people lined up that will help "onboard" you and while that's extremely helpful and effective, I think it's always beneficial to know your platform inside and out so you can make necessary changes as needed and not have to depend on the support team, or others. Because of the complexity, there's a time-consuming process you'll have to undertake before you can "go live". I mean, it makes sense due to the fullness and depth of their platform, just be sure to go into it knowing: (1), the trial is not nearly long enough to know if it's a right fit for your business, and (2), it'll take time to setup your workflows and make sense of how everything is integrated, and (3), host your videos elsewhere or you'll get eaten alive in bandwith overcharges. Kartra has what they call Kartraverse, which is like a step-by-step training course on how to use their platform. It's superb and very informative; however, it's still in its infancy and you have to wait until they create the next lesson before you can do in-depth with whatever topic they decide, and that was often frustrating. With that said, however, they also do a lot of webinars that are in-depth and full of insight, but sitting through a webinar to find one answer is a bit defeating when you're in a hurry or just not really sure what exactly you're even looking for. Their documentation leaves a little to be needed. Their page designer is also a bit on the clunky side without a lot of flexibility, and that's one place where they lost me. I don't like being held to rigid flows, templates and outlines. There's also not a way to remove their branding from emails, just so you know, in case that's a big turn-off for you. Kartra requires a lot of back and forth and in the beginning that can be extra confusing and frustrating. Once you get to know their method, it definitely makes sense, but it just seems that there has to be a better way of doing it so it's more user friendly. PS: Make sure you save your work... and save often!
I no longer use Kartra but when I did, the best thing I found was the fact that it was all-in-one. I really liked being able to login to one platform and it was all there, even analytics and in-depth reports based on product, emails, link tracking, etc. It truly was full-service.
Kartra does many of the things that my virtual assistant loves for summits and webinars. It looks clean on the receiver (emails, etc) and colors are easy on the eyes when you are the user.
I love learning in a simple way, but Kartra does not make it simple for the regular user to learn the platform even with the Kartraverse Training portal. It will require too much of my time to dig and start working it. I am a physician who would like to have the ease to start doing my own summits without the help of a virtual assistant but it would take me tooooo long! Also the price point is high. Now I have gone for a $99/month to a $199, so I am seriously consider to change. Categories to find what you want to do are not simple and as a person who would use it less than often for now, I is time wasting to go through each category to find the place I need to go and complete a specific job.
I am starting an online school and do virtual summits. They have good templates and their platform is robust once you know how to use it, I guess. My assistant can put a summit funnel in no time, but not mE!!
The flexibility and numerous configuration options make this a very capable CRM and auto-mailer system. It seems like the OEM has really though through the use cases and the result is a very robust feature set
The learning curve is not a curve, it's more like a 90-degree wall. In spite of the videos and online Wiki, this is a very complicated system to configure. All of the power and flexibility (and there is a whole lot of both) has translated into a system that is not intuitive in the least.
My entire business is online and global so a system like Kartra is a must for our company. Kartra delivers on all fronts - very strong auto-mailer and campaign management, good CRM capability and VERY powerful web development platform.
I like that I can use Kartra as an all-in-one system. E-mail marketing, landing pages, mini-websites, membership platform, and e-commerce options.
If you are not tech savvy, it's a bit of a learning curve setting everything up.
I've simplified my workflow and marketing automations. The huge benefits are that everything is in one system. It reduces the amount of systems that a person has to use.
I liked that it was easy to set up landing pages and send emails
I feel like Active Campaign is much easier to use and offers way more options for creating marketing funnels
contacting clients
Aside from the all-inclusive, email marketing, list building, web hosting, page building & so much more business management platform, the best feature I like best is knowing if you need help or support for anything, that Kartra is there for you. They give you every advantage under the sun to be successful in your business through their features and individualized customer support.
Well since my first review. Alot happened. Shortly after I did this review, something very strange happened. I woke up, did my thing and sat down in front of my laptop to login to my Kartra account. Everything seemed normal, entered my username & password then clicked login. Next thing i know, a popup appears telling me I have been blocked and to contact chat support. Now aside from trying to figure out why i was blocked, I now needed to find a way to contact chat support, from the outside of my Kartra account. Not an easy thing to do. My only option was to wait until I was in a different IP and try and login. When all of those methods failed , days had turned into weeks, and weeks into months. I had an associate who I iknew also had a Kartra account forward a message for me to Kartra support, explaining the situation. Another few weeks later, I was finally contacted by someone at Kartra, who never really told me anything. Just that I was no longer welcome at Kartra. This sudden lockout, cost me an entire years worth of commissions. Because as soon as I was locked out, everything in my account failed to renew, failed to re-activate and so on. None of my optin pages worked, my funnels were no more and basically my entire online business dissolved. To this very day, I have never been told WHY this happened, or anything. You would think that for something to end like this, the way it ended, that you would want to let this customer/client know exactly what happened. So they may learn and gain a better understanding of what happened. Kartra in this matter chose to ignore me, lock me out of everything, blacklist me. Totally breaking my online into tiny scattered pieces that I couldnt rebuild quite the same and it never did gain traction again. I wish I had more to tell you but even I dont know and will never know why , out of the blue, i was locked out, never to return to Kartra.
The major problem that I had was being able to see exactly what I had as far as campaign 'pieces'. You'll wonder how your business ran without Kartra because when you dont have to log into separate websites for software, autoresponder's, Domain & Hosting vendors and page builders, are able to address ALL those aspects and more under 1 roof, you'll never want to use any other platform for your business.
The all-in-one promise and pricing-value is attractive
Really obvious there isn't a modern UX / CX team on this app. Tons of user tasks that on some tools might take two clicks take eight or more (they force you through wizards for settings on multiple features and there's no way to bypass it). You'll find some incredibly detailed functionality and then terrible admin implementation. Right now trying to decide if good functionality is worth being mad at the interface all the time.
Building an online course that I may also link with some digital product sales in the future.
It's very easy to navigate and allows you to store all customer information for the company. Support is quick to respond.
There's a lot. Tasks that should be easily done, like removing a url is a total run around. Even when removing a customer from your database, it still stores within the internal system so the customer isn't actually deleted preventing you from using any of the old information. We've also had issues where email blasts have only gone to half our selected group and instead of it then sending to the rest, we have to manually find who didn't receive it - which could be tens of thousands of people.
In all honesty, right now it seems to be causing more problems than it is solving them for our company.
