I really like how you can create a design on the fly with the prototype. I also love the community that shares content.

I don't like how there's frequent glitches with toggling between pages created within a project.

Powerful tool with lots of imaging options and customization. I use Figma primarily to make product screenshots and with our templates that we use, it takes seconds to frame a screenshot.

This is the first image editing and creation tool that I've used and it took me a while to navigate the tool. The tremendous amount of editing capability means that there's a lot to learn. Some things that I expected to be intuitive, like cropping an image, were not and I had to seek out resources to accomplish my task.

I use Figma to create high quality and a mass quantity of product screenshots and visuals. With Figma, we can do this much more quickly than before.

Ability to leave feedback directly on prototypes, visual designs, mocks, you name it. Work together with anyone on your team to review and walk through designs in real time. Great for beginners who do not have any prior experience.

Often times I am on the present mode and wonder why I can't switch back to the edit view so it can take a minute to get used to. As a product manager, I am often shared Figma links and can accidentally move the objects around. Would be good to have some sort of toggle or indicator to let me know whether I am in edit mode or "read-only".

We use Figma for real-time collaborating, sharing feedback with the product design team on visual designs, prototypes, and using it as a working document for synthesizing user study research data.

The ease of use of this platform is almost easier than Canva. But, it has functionality close to Illustrator. For someone like me who doesn't need to do highly complex designs, this is the perfect level of functionality. Anything too complex to do in Figma means it should be a designer doing it.

Nothing at all is to complain about so far.

This saves a lot of time when there is an in-house designer that is busy with complicated design work.

the layout and architecture of the tool is easy and simple, unlike some competing programs that require a bit more effort in setup.

certain tools and features that are intuitive/standard in other software isn't as easy to use/user friendly in Figma. Like, filling a grid of photos could be more user friendly since it requires a few steps to fill a shape with an image.

Figma makes it really simple to organize my projects with "pages" and it makes me work a little faster and efficiently. I wish Figma would bring in some of the standard features of UX apps.

At first it's a little hard to understand but then it becomes simple. It just takes some minutes to understand

To be honest there's not much I dislike, it can be hard to export sometimes but rather than that it's fine

I've been doing social media management but so far I haven't been having any problems. It's really easy to use and it is a problem solver

Easy prototyping for initial ideas of UI. Its easy to mirror your design on the phone and then navigate through it like a real life application to show clients or users for testing

Component, Autolayout, Variants are very useful, flexible features. We can create flexible and easily reusable components. It is useful not only for UI design but also creatives, presentations.

Lack of subfolder feature in projects. It would be nice if it has more flexibility to be able to simulate CSS features.

The user interface is friendly and easy to use, it's very easy to understand and get around the platform.

A greater choice of templates and kits would be great, instead of having to get them outsourced.

It's easier to leave comments on the work in Figma. It's also nice that multiple people can view and edit at once.

Sometimes it gets a little glitchy and does not work very well.

We're able to have internal and client reviews much easier and giving feedback in one place is really helpful.

Compared to Sketch this app is web-based, so several designers can work more easily on the same mockup. For developers, that means that mockups are always up to date. Figma comes with basic features for design handoff (comments system for collaboration, mockup inspector, use of symbols to create a design system).

There is a learning curve at using this tool and the team needs to be organised.

With Figma, we can have several designers working on the same mockups at the same time. We also have one source of truth for mockups. The tool has enough features to get the information required to integrate the mockup.

I use Sketch, InVision studio, Figma, and XD for different situations. But if I ever need to collaborate in a design, it has to be Figma. Plus it’s free!

-You have to be connected to the internet to use it. -there isn’t as much third party plugin support -it’s not quite as feature rich as sketch -the menus are a little difficult to navigate -no easy connection to invision
